Definitely musical genius; the vocals & music living up to the talents of their owners once again. Thanks, Silversun Pickups for this performance. As lots of other viewers mentioned, wish I had been there also.
I wasn’t really a fan of the album version but this one sounds amazing. Nikki’s voice here shines through much better than the background group vocals on the album. Even Brian’s vocals have a little more grit to them here. I also really like the guitars at 1:29 and 2:43 much better than the electronic sounds.
I have never heard this band before but i heard this acoustic performance on a podcast and damn, i really like this song, i love that chicks voice on the "we want it" part and they were really tight with the guitars.
Man you can sing and that bass is the shiz nit been a fan of this song for years still think it's one of the most best songs you guys have done wish I was here on this
While I'm sure this was a super cool event to be at... I can't help but be reminded of that Chappelle Show sketch spoofing "Making The Band" when Wyclef comes into the recording booth and "Dye-lon" says, "You're too close, man!" and chokes him out... Those people are WAY too close! How uncomfortable was that?! I'm all for "intimacy" but... c'mon.
9 years later im still here watching.
Yes!
One of my all time fav live performances.
This guy needs this unmodified singing on his albums. Felt this was even more powerful and you get to feel his range more than on the CD version.
I agree , love this band, live is best
I just saw them live, they played this...and it sounded just as good.

I wish they would release an acoustic version, like this. Original studio version is great, but the acoustic is so much better.
I can't say which version i like best, but this one has me in its pocket because of Nikki's voice
Both are great and have there own place. Seeing them play this live with electrics and drums is an experience.

Had the great pleasure of seeing them live. One of my favourites.
First heard this on one of those Navy aircraft carrier cruise videos...really cool song. And then I checked this out...and a GUY is singing?
What a Vocal performance. Wow.
Holy god, this is epic.
I adore the song, great performance live by the way
Awesome acoustic version. I would have liked to hear more from her, too.
