To Maui’s point on NRG being the Ex-EG core, they didn’t show much results wise in EPL but they did in fact compete pretty well with ENCE, Mouz, MIBR, & beat Rooster (obviously) not to mention they almost (choked) beat G2 at Blast. On paper the upgrades are perfect too oSee SHOULD be better than Junior (inshallah), Brehze (he’s back) as the anchor is much better than HexT was in that role, & HexT has been playing WAY better than Jeorge did in those roles! So this lineup has some potential 🤞

Love Launders' point on casters & being the current "flavour". I have exactly the same. SPUNJ & Machine are undeniably amazing casters, I just got kinda sick of hearing them so much during the online era and the big finals they've done in the past few years. Currently, Launders & Scrawny are my favourite duo. Before SPUNJ & Machine it was Anders and Moses (for me), etc. , it rotates. That doesn't make the others bad or anything, just not the current flavour like Launders said.

I honestly thought the biggest failure of Falcons was splitting Saw and Snappi up. Zonic is a great coach but the synergy between Snappi and Saw raised Ence and that old Ence squad with Hades from perennial top 25 nobodies into a legitimate top team even through the roster changes afterwards.

The Zywoo , S1mple thing is different , with Zywoo still at the peek and S1mple at the worst he's ever been , there was no point in time where Ronaldo and Messi were like this .
But let's assume , the analogy is correct , still Messi has a way more direct play style over his career than Ronaldo , in his last couple of years in Europe Messi could still take the ball dribble past three players and score where Ronaldo can only score in the traditional Striker Position although he is the most clinical he still needs people to assist him .
On the other hand Zywoo is more versatile which means he kill better with different weapons in different situations which means he will get more kills over the long run bcuz no matter what gun he uses and which gun gets nerfed or if it is CSGO or CS2 he will be really good and look really good inside the server . S1mple at his peek (2018 and 2021) was better but he's not anymore that means he's was just the best at one game relatively the best with one gun (AWP) and he isn't anymore .

the harsh TRUTH of complexity : kicking hallzerk SEEMS like the super obvious move to level them up... BUT... This solves nothing... Here's why: floppy and Grim are some of the most OVERRATED riflers in tier 1; they get NO smoke for being VERY average if not slightly BAD.... the coL problem is deeper than just 'kick hallzerk'

Maui's take on the COL thing is awful. JT and TC are both awful. Grim's floor is somewhere in tier 77. Floppy is a solved mid prospect who will never figure out anything. Elige has been running that team, and has carried JT's existence. Totally revamped both CT and T sides, making the individuals look better than they are. Without Elige, COL aren't going to the major, they're not even making a playoffs at any decent event.

On Launders' bad point which is about C9: Counter Strike is a game that is won WITH team play. Launders said that C9 won't win because they don't have a star player ane because they have a good team play. In conclusion, C9 needs an awper but if they lose it won't be because of their team play lol.

Imagine a world where Team Liquid kept oSee and to 2nd AWP and Rifle
- They'd have kept their core, a core that had played together for 18+ months
- While cadiaN struggles with the macro/micro of building a plan oSee could pick up the AWP occasionally
- They'd have saved 600k on
- They'd be a full NA core and ESL could invite them as Local hero to NA events
- oSee is low ego, was a support AWPer and could play a high skilled anchor role
- oSee biggest highlights and clutches are with the rifle
- EliGE pointed out his utility work is extremely high
Yeah, daps mentioned it and I believe it was around that same time that autimatic was unofficially confirmed to be in the team once daps moved to coaching as well (the implication being that tim would igl after returning to competition, but ofc that didn't happen, and could have been due to replacing fang instead after the roster didn't work out)
I agree that keeping oSee would not have been the worst idea IF they knew from the get-go the situation with cadian in heroic-astralis. I believe this roster is ultimately the result of somewhat competent team-building in a short span (I say somewhat, because they should have still gotten a primary awper / kept osee / found a secondary awp to compliment cadian so the burden of awp-igl wasn't as massive early on).
My only question for management really boils down to how much did zews influence the skullz addition. If it was a simple suggestion that management opted to follow, I would start questioning them more than any current player/coach rn.

On the Complexity point, I believe they should replace BOTH hallzerk and grim. Hallzerk just flat out whiffs shots every game and grim’s performance in this team has got to be one of the biggest disappointments in NA CS history. They both should go or else complexity will stay the same crumbling mess it has been.

Does YnK even have an accent anymore? Sure, during his first years as an analyst it might have been more noticeable since he was of of the few slavs on an English speaking desks. thorin point about s1mple, i have to disagree on some level. a) hes not looking good in fpl. yes people might say, 'bro its just fpl'' but to people who watch s1mple play fpl in csgo know s1mple always try hard n put a crazy number most of the time(thats how good he is). now go see s1mple play fpl in cs2, he looks straight up average n only very few games, he play super well.
b) as we all know s1mple right now living like a man without a land(cuz of war) n that part of those prolong issue is 100% taking away hes focus from the game. u have to live in different county with different culture, people n friend will eat u up mentally n lets be real, this war wont end soon so i doubt we can see old s1mple soon(or ever).
