New seats from bassboatseats.com install

- Well it is time to change out my old bass boat seats in my Skeeter SX190, after calling around and getting prices I found it was just cheaper to buy brand new seats from bassboatseats.com . After the install and being on the water with them a couple time, the new seats are a big improvement!

Factory put in drain holes. Factory put in underseat storage. Compact bassboat seats fit nicely and can be centered over both storage holes with center console/foot step. Full size seats don't align the same...but you managed it well.

@@DinsmoreOutdoors oh I know, I just ordered seats and only part of them came at about 5pm. I wanna know how they manage to get everyone thier stuff between 5 to 8.m, because they are always at the end of day. Ha ha ha hardest 3 hours of work I've ever seen.
I'm looking at a similar only the bench is actually separate convertible casting seats and the middle seat fold forward to reveal a cooler under it. It is bad as yours because if the same use of the seat, it was the step to the rear cast deck. So I'm converting it to a piece of carpeted plywood which will use the same hinge for cooler access . But I'm selling my boat so I'll check out the seats from where you got yours... All 4 will be replaced. 2 casting fold down seat, and 2 helm style seats. But I have to match them to each other .
yea they sell sets where you can all 4 seats for your boat, bundling them saves a lil bit of money. Glad my video was helpful for ya

They have held up very well!! Just put some 303 or armor All type spray on them once in awhile. Heck yea love my bruiser baits! Best kept secret baits but I hope they catch on
FedEx is terrible, Agreed! Not only their delivery time but boxes always arrive destroyed 😂

Factory they come with storage under the seats. They should also have a lip cover all the way around the hole
3 years of use now since you installed new seats. Is the material holding up well? Any drying out, cracking, or fading?
Still look as good as the day I put them in. I don't let people step in them, the boat stays inside and keep them wiped down 303 spray.
Question. How do you like the console after time? Was it waterproof? And how does the latch hold up, trying to see if it pops open flying down the lake..
Hi there, I love it. It hasn't faded out, holds up to people stepping on it and stays secure never had it open up, even doing 75 down the highway. Would say it's 100% water proof but if you're out in the rain nothing inside gets wet. Hope that helps ya
Are you still liking these seats? I am wanting to order these for my boyfriend since his Bass Cat seats are all worn out. You said that you got the full size ones. How tall is the wall behind your seats? His Bass Cat's is only 10" so I am wondering if they will look to high. The compact are not an option as his bench is 18" and the compact seats are only 16" and have a lip that takes 4" more away.
im loving these seats! way more comfortable than my old ones. im not sure how tall my back wall is but you have some room to adjust the back since the top and bottom are not attached together

Dude awesome thanks for the info...I'm planning on buying a 96 Nitro and the seats have seen better days and was wondering how I could replace them. In fact those look like the same color I will want for my boat...If I can get it..
Mine are still holding up good! and way more comfy than my old ones. When I amd riding in rough water I can tell the difference

no problem! wish i could have made it a lil better but hard to get the camera angles I wanted and run the tools haha
I had to screw down 4 pieces of 2x4 stacked up, into my rear deck and then the seat backs into the 2x4s. Looks ugly but works. 1995 nitro 180fs
@@slowfaller had to add pieces of 3/4" plywood on my seat backs to give it space so I can open my back hatches haha so im there with ya.
