Daytime swordfishing involves a lot of time and money. One of the most important things that is often not properly researched before getting to the swordfish grounds is how to deploy your tip rod line. For our daytime swordfishing set up, we use the Lindgren Pitman sv1200 model. This reel is similar to the Lindgren Pitman s1200 model. The main difference from the Lindgren Pitman s-1200 model is that the sv1200 has a variable speed dial. The process to deploy the tip rod will be the same no matter what reel you are using.
