World Heroes is a 1992 fighting arcade game developed and published by Alpha Denshi (later known as ADK) with the assistance of SNK. It was originally released for the Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet on July 28, 1992.
It is ADK's first game in the fighting game genre, as well as their earliest attempt in the fighting game trend of the '90s that was popularized by Capcom's 1991 arcade hit Street Fighter II. It was even the last game with the "Alpha" logo labeled within the game before the developer became "ADK"; however, the "Alpha" logo was last used on one of the arcade flyers of its sequel.

En ese juego le hicieron remixes a sus musicas de World Heroes 1 y World Heroes 2 🎵
El remix de su tema de WH1 en SNKH es sin dudas la mejor version de ese tema, incluso mejor que la version Arranged de NEO GEO CD
Edit: En SNK Heroines le cambiaron el nombre a Jeanne.
En mi headcanon, 'Jeanne' es su verdadero nombre 'Janne' es su apodo o como le gusta que la llamen sus amigos.
Por eso yo la llamo Jeanne 'Janne' D'Arc.
Por si alguien se pregunta porque el escenario de Janne es en un circo, segun parece ella fue criada en ese lugar.
En el juego ADK World, se revela que el nombre de su espada sagrada es la 'Bastard Buster' y su armadura se llama 'Shining Force', ambas las consiguió sobornando a un traficante de armas.

JANNE'S TOUCH OF DEATH COMBO!
Jumping heavy punch or kick, standing heavy punch XX Heavy Aura Bird (charge b, f+punch), Heavy Slide (df+heavy kick). Either the Bird will dizzy or the Slide will dizzy. Do the combo again and no opponent survives.
Also, if you're truly a GOAT, you can do crossup jumping heavy kick, Heavy Aura Bird, standing heavy punch XX Aura Bird, Heavy Slide (df+heavy kick). (Don't think anyone survives to the Slide, though.)
Lastly, you don't need turbo buttons to get four crouching light attacks to hit. Everyone but Rasputin has a dizzy combo that includes four light attacks. Save that stuff for tool assisted combo videos.

It's a nice game, but I would like to play it with with four buttons instead of two. Just like World Heroes Perfect.
As much as I liked WH Perfect, I missed the pressure sensitive buttons of the previous games.
If SNK makes a new World Heroes, they should bring back pressure sensitive buttons.
