Looks great! Why the choice of 200T with a filter instead of 50D?

thank you! shooting the 200T with a filter allowed me to be able to shoot indoors should I need to. Even with a filter, the 200T remains a higher ISO than 50D, giving me slightly more liberty to shoot. If I shot with the 50D, it would need to be pretty bright indoors to get a shot once a filter was added to convert. Though I really did not shoot indoors, I used 200T with a filter just in case

Wow man, this looks great! Did you happen to try the canon 514xl too? I'm going to buy a super 8 camera and I'd like to know if you'd recomend this yashica for a beginner

I never tried the canon but I have heard great things about it! This was my first time ever shooting on super 8 so I was a beginner as well, and shooting on the Yashica worked great for me

Great video, Jackson. I have a question about the Yashica. Do the backlight/spotlight dial work gradually? I mean, if you turn the dial halfway toward spotlight, for example, do you get half as much underexposure?

I just tested mine last week, backlight and spotlight add +1 or -1 stop of light, no gradient to it

I´m also interested in the question from ZB. I have the same camera and i just ordered a film now i dont know if i should use an external 85a filter

I only use the 85 filter when using tungsten balanced film in the outdoors. I made sure to disengage the internal filter at all times and just use the external filter whenever I need it
