Really cool. I had a tub out this summer with medaka, golden white clouds and cherries. First time keeping fish outside. It was super fun to watch for babies. The shrimp were the most prolific though.
Nope, nope, nope. There's just not enough beer to make me like snakes. 🙂 I've had really good luck with the Mickey Mouse platys not eating theor fry. The tanks look great and I think the IBCs may have inspired me to set up a tub for the White Clouds. We shall see. Can I prefer both? shrimp/crypt tank! That tank is amazing. @@AdriansFishroom it gets below freezing but i live in the desert so its rarely wet enough to snow. the temp swings here are obscene lol. it can breach ~45C in summer, which i guess isnt too bad for certain parts of australia? but yea 100 degree (F) temp swings between winter and summer is not fun.

I think a good future consideration for you might be a roll of black sun shade fabric from Amazon or a Garden Supply store . They have cheap that might last a season or two but the good fabric is going to have your tubs much easier to manage. Just get a bag of grommets and the attachment tool , some green or black nylon rope and what might be a good match to have some bamboo poles /posts or whatever you can think of which is usually amazing and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and many more years of living on your awesome property 🤶🏻🌲⛄❤️💚

Oh for the days I could drink coffee non-stop! Do you gave any birds or others that might raid your tubs? Unless a pond is fairly deep with lots of hiding places or the fish quite large, large water birds and raccoons will raid them. That python was stunning…those marking! Have a lovely holiday…though given all your critters I don’t think “holiday” is accurate. Beer should help with that. Wish I could send some Tecate your way! In all the times I’ve moved snakes away from human busy areas, I’ve been only been bitten twice…both times I was still a kid. One was well deserved because I was messing with a lovely water snake and the other happened when saving a small snake from fellow students who wanted to kill it. Poor snake was terrified.

That’s so awesome thank you very much and to be honest the best way to get the tub set up is to buy them already done off of Gumtree or Facebook marketplace as they are only $65 and fully finished. It’s a large exercise to cut them down yourself and usually ends up with broken sore blades and lots of swearing. Lol.👍🏻🙏🐶🇦🇺💪🏻🍺

Would mangroves planted into the tubs provide shade in summer for cooling and remove nitrates from the water at a high rate ? Im trying to work out how to do it on my large tank but its on an oak cabinet with an oak Hood so is very tall in the room 2 ft 6inch abouve top

Duckweed is the worst. Quite sometime ago some hitchhiked into my aquarium, I’m assuming from some other floaters I had bought. It truly is a nightmare!!! 🤬

I don’t have a Facebook page, but I do have an Instagram page and occasionally advertise fish on there, but it’s much easier to wholesale them because I usually have quite a few and it becomes very hectic and time-consuming when people come to my fishroom to buy them. @@AdriansFishroom it gets below freezing but i live in the desert so its rarely wet enough to snow. the temp swings here are obscene lol. it can breach ~45C in summer, which i guess isnt too bad for certain parts of australia? but yea 100 degree (F) temp swings between winter and summer is not fun.

I think a good future consideration for you might be a roll of black sun shade fabric from Amazon or a Garden Supply store . They have cheap that might last a season or two but the good fabric is going to have your tubs much easier to manage. Just get a bag of grommets and the attachment tool , some green or black nylon rope and what might be a good match to have some bamboo poles /posts or whatever you can think of which is usually amazing and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and many more years of living on your awesome property 🤶🏻🌲⛄❤️💚

Oh for the days I could drink coffee non-stop! Do you gave any birds or others that might raid your tubs? Unless a pond is fairly deep with lots of hiding places or the fish quite large, large water birds and raccoons will raid them. That python was stunning…those marking! Have a lovely holiday…though given all your critters I don’t think “holiday” is accurate. Beer should help with that. Wish I could send some Tecate your way! In all the times I’ve moved snakes away from human busy areas, I’ve been only been bitten twice…both times I was still a kid. One was well deserved because I was messing with a lovely water snake and the other happened when saving a small snake from fellow students who wanted to kill it. Poor snake was terrified.

That’s so awesome thank you very much and to be honest the best way to get the tub set up is to buy them already done off of Gumtree or Facebook marketplace as they are only $65 and fully finished. It’s a large exercise to cut them down yourself and usually ends up with broken sore blades and lots of swearing. Lol.👍🏻🙏🐶🇦🇺💪🏻🍺

Hi there and no, in fact I don’t. I let the lead fall into the pond and whilst I was also worried about the white zap it has not affected the fish or the shrimp at all and the shrimp love to eat the leaves and I found them to be very beneficial. 👍🏻❤️🐶🙏🇦🇺💪🏻🍺🐍

I don’t have a Facebook page, but I do have an Instagram page and occasionally advertise fish on there, but it’s much easier to wholesale them because I usually have quite a few and it becomes very hectic and time-consuming when people come to my fishroom to buy them.
