For those that don't know: Charger Hellcat Widebody: Top Speed/0-60mph: 196mph/3.6 seconds. Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody: Top Speed/0-60mph: 203mph/3.5 seconds. Charger R/T Scat Pack (narrow and widebody): 175mph/4.3 seconds The differences are negligible.

The reason I got the 2023 hellcat jailbreak and not the redeye was because the markups. All redeye jailbreak markups were 20-25k+. I ordered mine back in November. I can easily make the car 820hp+ & come out of 7k-9k maybe even less!
You get a hellcat jailbreak, they’ll ask you why you didn’t get a redeye. You get a redeye, they’ll ask why didn’t you get one of the 7 last call editions. Excellent Choice! Awesome ride. In 2015 I purchased a new Cat with 707 loaded for $68,177 msrp and got a "22 TRX with 702. I've never ever felt underpowered. I admire the Demons, Red Eyes and Super Stock editions and admit that those are superior in regard to HP. I'm good where I'm at.

I’m a lot like you, I have a 2015 Challenger Hellcat 707hp. I now have 31k on it and I’ve only had it up to 140mph, and I’ve had it at the track only 3 times. I think you did good and got the perfect car for you ! Hell have fun and Congrats again 👍👍
Fellow Widebody Hellcat owner here, I get the same question, but my reasoning is a bit simpler. You could never get a RedEye with a manual transmission, to me, that’s a real deal breaker. Sure it may have less power, but the driving experience is far superior in my opinion. Also, hate to burst your bubble, but the “after run cooler” and the “chiller” are two different options. The RedEye has both a after run cooler (like what you have) and a supercharger chiller, which is still only exclusive to the Redeye’s. The chiller will use your AC system to cool the supercharger. Luckily there are aftermarket kits for the regular hellcats that do the same thing but better from what I’ve heard. So if you do that, you really wont be missing out on much anyways.
Great choice bro. So many people want Redeyes just to stunt and say they got a Redeye. 12-24 months later they getting repossed because they can't afford them.
Same thing happened to me with the challenger redeye every dealership in a 3 state radius was out of allocations and the only few that had allocations was price gauging with $25-50k markup which I wasn’t willing to pay at all but ended up ordering the hellcat widebody a month ago with barely any markup and just got my VIN# last week so stoked but congrats man
congrats 360 ! .... my '22 redeye now has it's 797 hp + new Direct Connection Stage kits ( pre-stage & stage 2 ) 90+ more hp on racing fuel ( $24/gallon ), I also run it in track mode full time .. plus threw in a Pedal Commander for good measure..... I welcome all comers . peace

Man I love this video from start to finish. Make it make sense. I bought a 2020 plum crazy wide body scat pack charger with 26k miles. The previous owner put a large super charger on it along with some other goodies. He was in financial trouble and I walked away with that car for only 22k out the door. He didn’t want to ruin his credit so he only wanted pay off. Had it tested and I’m making 697 to my rear wheels. Payments only $210 a month. IM HAPPY!!! I like what you said about it “making sense”. People will buy a hellcat with $300 shoes on their feet yet can barely put gas in it or even buy a Big Mac meal haha. Love your videos and content brother. Stay safe and much respect.

That's still close to 100k in price. I paid maybe 50 with all the small parts to get it perfect 10k mile srt 392 loaded. Anything over maybe 600 wheel hp is practically useless on the street. . The biggest aspects of my buying the Srt was for the Active suspension, 15.6 front brembos , 6 spd, Narrow body , and the Napa Leather comfort. Does have the tech package and love the sunroof. I can do a 2500 buck Nitrous and tune if I want to be mid 11s or better at the track. But really just love it as it is. Comfort is everything when you pay north of 50k at my age. Love all of your options. Great specs..

With a direct connection stage kit you can be at the same power level as a redeye for a 1/3 of the price, and still retain your factory warranty. I install them weekly. 10k difference to jump to a redeye, stage kit is 4k and change. Make it work for you!
Sure.. get the stage kit, you still aint got the 2.7 blower, better rods & pistons, complete different valvetrain, better clutches in trans, beefier driveshaft, bigger axles.. its not just a tune, CAI, and pulley kit..
Just started following I love all of the...car fanatic! My friends bought the scats and I bought the redeye....all challengers. But it was my preference to get the redeye, due to my other toys pushing 432 at the wheel E92 M. That's why I charged up. But I'm like you, no drags, no donuts, no over the limits... but high speed runs and 1 mile runs and some road courses at VIR...yes I'm with it....but all in all do what makes you happy!

717 HP is just fine, especially if you're not in the street racing game. I swapped my old 2021 scatty charger for a 2020 ten speed Mustang and with all the mods i put in i got my NA Mustang running low 6's in the 60 to 130. I have gapped supercharcharged cars including those gay corvettes, but after awhile the street racing shit gets old. I very often think about going back to mopar and getting a widebody Scat or Cat Charger because i love the way they look and they're plenty fuckin fast. I think most likely i'll end up getting a new 2024 ten speed 5.0 Mustang but that could change if i find a good deal on a widebody Hellcat. I have seen plenty of crackheads upselling the fuck out of these cars though. we got crackheads on facebook posting stock scats for 86k.....hell no! I can't predict the future but I think i may possibly find myself in a widebody.

I bought an RT because I wanted a muscle car that I can afford. Buying a higher trim didnt make sense to me financially. Also, I'm a true gear-head and love modding my own cars. My RT has plenty of room for upgrades for more HP. Congratulations on.your purchase and have fun!
The Hellcat is more than enough power! I have had my Widebody Challenger Scat Pack for over a year and the fastest I went in it is 103mph!😂 Like you said, unless you are taking it to a track looking to race everyone and beat everyone, than a Hellcat is more than enough to have a lot fun in. You can still beat just about 90% of the cars on the street with your Hellcat. You made the right choice! Don’t listen to the haters!

You would be surprised, a lot of the redeye drivetrain is upgraded/reinforced. Also, the wine is just a little bit louder. 😜 edit: I get 19.9MPG in the redeye in street transmission mode and 797 power. Once you go over 75+ the fuel economy drops off.
Absolutely - make it make sense to you. I had a Scat Pack for 2 .5 years and l never went over 131 mph. So , I "dropped down" from the Scat to the GT. The cars look almost exactly the same and I'm enjoying the extra $360/month.

5:22 i used to own a 2020 daytona hellcat with 717hp i did 196mph and now im owning a 2021 hellcat redeye 797hp and i did 210mph.

my '22 redeye now has it's 797 hp + new Direct Connection Stage kits ( pre-stage & stage 2 ) 90+ more hp on racing fuel ( $24/gallon ), I also run it in track mode full time .. plus threw in a Pedal Commander for good measure..... I welcome all comers . peace

Man I love this video from start to finish. Make it make sense. I bought a 2020 plum crazy wide body scat pack charger with 26k miles. The previous owner put a large super charger on it along with some other goodies. He was in financial trouble and I walked away with that car for only 22k out the door. He didn’t want to ruin his credit so he only wanted pay off. Had it tested and I’m making 697 to my rear wheels. Payments only $210 a month. IM HAPPY!!! I like what you said about it “making sense”. People will buy a hellcat with $300 shoes on their feet yet can barely put gas in it or even buy a Big Mac meal haha. Love your videos and content brother. Stay safe and much respect.

Unless that 2020 scat pack was smashed sitting on a junkyard lot, you didn't get it for $22k.. and you don't get a payment of $210 on $22k unless you financed it for 8yrs.. and you can't supercharge a scat to 700whp without grenading the motor.. The rods will not hold it.. period.. A regular hellcat only dyno's a touch over 600whp.. Why you people always gotta lie on comment sections to make yourself feel better is crazy..
That's still close to 100k in price. I paid maybe 50 with all the small parts to get it perfect 10k mile srt 392 loaded. Anything over maybe 600 wheel hp is practically useless on the street. . The biggest aspects of my buying the Srt was for the Active suspension, 15.6 front brembos , 6 spd, Narrow body , and the Napa Leather comfort. Does have the tech package and love the sunroof. I can do a 2500 buck Nitrous and tune if I want to be mid 11s or better at the track. But really just love it as it is. Comfort is everything when you pay north of 50k at my age. Love all of your options. Great specs..

With a direct connection stage kit you can be at the same power level as a redeye for a 1/3 of the price, and still retain your factory warranty. I install them weekly. 10k difference to jump to a redeye, stage kit is 4k and change. Make it work for you!
Sure.. get the stage kit, you still aint got the 2.7 blower, better rods & pistons, complete different valvetrain, better clutches in trans, beefier driveshaft, bigger axles.. its not just a tune, CAI, and pulley kit..
Just started following I love all of the...car fanatic! My friends bought the scats and I bought the redeye....all challengers. But it was my preference to get the redeye, due to my other toys pushing 432 at the wheel E92 M. That's why I charged up. But I'm like you, no drags, no donuts, no over the limits... but high speed runs and 1 mile runs and some road courses at VIR...yes I'm with it....but all in all do what makes you happy!

717 HP is just fine, especially if you're not in the street racing game. I swapped my old 2021 scatty charger for a 2020 ten speed Mustang and with all the mods i put in i got my NA Mustang running low 6's in the 60 to 130. I have gapped supercharcharged cars including those gay corvettes, but after awhile the street racing shit gets old. I very often think about going back to mopar and getting a widebody Scat or Cat Charger because i love the way they look and they're plenty fuckin fast. I think most likely i'll end up getting a new 2024 ten speed 5.0 Mustang but that could change if i find a good deal on a widebody Hellcat. I have seen plenty of crackheads upselling the fuck out of these cars though. we got crackheads on facebook posting stock scats for 86k.....hell no! I can't predict the future but I think i may possibly find myself in a widebody.

I had my RT built going on 3 years ago, and I've been asked why I didn't get a Scat. I'm sure Scat owners get, "Why didn't you get a Hellcat?"
I bought an RT because I wanted a muscle car that I can afford. Buying a higher trim didnt make sense to me financially. Also, I'm a true gear-head and love modding my own cars. My RT has plenty of room for upgrades for more HP.

The Hellcat is more than enough power! I have had my Widebody Challenger Scat Pack for over a year and the fastest I went in it is 103mph!😂 Like you said, unless you are taking it to a track looking to race everyone and beat everyone, than a Hellcat is more than enough to have a lot fun in. You can still beat just about 90% of the cars on the street with your Hellcat. You made the right choice! Don’t listen to the haters!

edit: I get 19.9MPG in the redeye in street transmission mode and 797 power. Once you go over 75+ the fuel economy drops off.

Absolutely - make it make sense to you. I had a Scat Pack for 2 .5 years and l never went over 131 mph. So , I "dropped down" from the Scat to the GT. The cars look almost exactly the same and I'm enjoying the extra $360/month.
