Rob Schneider Breaks Down His Most Iconic Characters | GQ - บันเทิง
*Rob Schnieders Career:* "Come do this movie, there's no lines, but we'll figure it out." Makes a character more memorable than the main characters.
The Campfire technically Adams Sandler character was more memorable to me than robs
Rob S, Dennis chan
I now pronounce you a bill and chuck
Dennis Decided
Is the best
His whole career seems to be summed up by, "Eh, we'll just figure it out."
Yup because Sandler definitely isn't coming up with anything funny lol
@@briancrawford69 I think Sandler likes to see how far he can go with a truly stupid idea, he's got stupid comedy backwards, alot of good stupid comedy works by committed delivery, but theres such a disconnected mirthless approach to the material, because the actors themselves do not believe or buy that it's funny, all the movies he makes are to amuse him and amuse him only (that and sponsors)
Brian Crawford idk now The Water Boy and You don’t mess with the Zohan was pretty funny. Big Daddy too at a extent.
Justin Raymer or in the words of Patrice O’Neal and I’m paraphrasing “Robs career has always been a little Christian Slayterish. It’s bad but it’s good, it’s good but it bad”. 😂
Having high expectations can make you care less about yourself or others.
*Adam Sandler cast all his friends in his movies, I love dat!*
and i love this comment....its so true
@@AvaniLeila4405 and I love you😩💕
Hi Jnel 👋
His friends are all funny lol.
Big up Jnel 🇯🇲 🇯🇲
Rob is lucky for having Adam as a friend. Adam shares lots of projects with Rob and makes him play a bunch of iconic characters.
He really helped his friends grown-ups and grown-ups 2
@@brycematthews2784 i mean all the people who played in grown ups worked in multiple movies/shows with adam
Because he IS Iconic.
they worked together for years before sandler was in his first movie
Adams not that great bud, maybe he has cool friends
I love that his whole career can be summed up with just "YOU CAN DO IT"
Lmao the sheer disappointment in his face says it all
Except in Down Periscope where he said... "That is outside the containment zone... You can't do that..." Then he tried to pull off a mutiny and ended up walking the plank. Pure hilarity.
There should have been a movie where he says "You CANT do it"
The Hot Chick was hilarious!! I wish he talked about that one.
There was a huge set feud on that film
@@joshuarichard6827 what was it about?
Even if just to talk about Adam Sandler getting to play the "you put your weed in here" guy
@@yourmove267 rob Schneider and rachel McAdams have a freaky friday situation but it's a old dude and a high school cheerleader
That’s crazy that’s not here
Rob is literally one of my favorites. His movies the animal and hot chick were waaaay too funny and ahead of its time.
Hot chick 😂😂
It’s bizarre to me why ‘Deuce Bigalow’ and the movie ‘the hot chick’ got panned by critics, rob schnieder is such a underrated comic actor
Rob "Adam Sandler asked me to be in his movie" Schneider
TheR3aper5 'just come by the set, we'll figure it out'. Fun making movie with friends.
Konrad Kondziovsky lmao 😂
@Brazilian Atlantis Someone is triggered, huh? And whether the movies are "good" or not is subjective. And not one person here was bashing on him. I was making a joke because almost every role he talked about started with him mentioning Adam Sandler asked him to be in it. So chill out there, Mr. Rob Schnieder is almost as good as Groucho Marx
Betting Adam Sandler never asked TheR3aper5 to be in any of his movies.
@@dustinpaulson1123 Fine by me
Rob went out of his way to meet me, and I'll never ever forget his kindness. Fan for life.
William L. Bozarth because you were his only fan
@@GHOST22x02 nah. The show was sold out, and everyone was laughing. Nice try, though.
@Balloon Fighter hey I like family guy and Rob Schneider wtf
He seems like a genuinely nice man.
@@jameswall1987 he’s a trump supporter.....not very nice.
Rob Schneider is such a gem, what a genuinely funny man.
The Best thing about Adam Sandler movies is Rob Schneiders characters.
lol because Adam Sandler's character is pretty much the same in every movie, but Rob's is always the interesting one.
ouch. if thats the best thing they must be awful
Yeahh!! And Kevin James
what i love about Schneider is that he's not pretentious or has a sense of self-importance about his profession. he's just a funny guy who kinda found his way into making movies cus he enjoys it, not because he think he's gonna change the world or peoples lives. he could easily be that car mechanic or hotel chef with lightning wit that everyone thinks is funny. he doesn't care if his movies get slated cus he's not doing it to make art, he's doing it to be funny and get paid.
Max Ponsonby well said.
Agreed!
Also agree. Well said.
Go watch "The Real Rob" and see if you maintain that opinion.
Being a car mechanic or hotel chef would require skill and talent... I think Rob is better suited saying 2 or 3 lines in an Adam Sandler movie.
Don't care what anybody says but both Deuce Bigalow movies are classics
must make peepee ...i used that line for too long after I saw that movie and still use it on occasion
Danny Leamons I do too still to this day lmao
sorry he didn't feature both , posters included
Sometime my fingers swell and I can't cleanly hit the numbers. They should make a phone for full figured women.
@Dr. Loomis first one is awful too.
Idk why, but this just makes me appreciate Adam Sandler.
He is a true friend
Adam Sandler is a genius.
@@lisamorales3914 in Punch Drunk Love and Uncut Gems especially.
He kills it in Sandler's "Don't Mess with the Zohan". Must see, people.

Ozzpocket Productions he’s a bum
@@johnp8370 you might not like him or his movies but he is a hardworking guy.
@@johnp8370 To each their own . Facts are he's hardworking, funny and rich . You're hateful and broke . I'd rather be him .
John P you’re pathetic and sad
I think people hate him cause of the characters he plays but the doesn’t understand that the character is the joke
Why does he look like he's morphing into Billy Crystal and Michael Keaton...
Oh my god that’s all I see now
Acting!
I saw Martin and Charlie Sheen.
I saw Michael Keaton too!
@@coocoopuffs109 I see Martin sheen & a thin Brian Posehn.
Please God someone tell Rob how under-appreciated and under valued he is. He seems so dang down to earth, and that’s really something said too often but not truly exemplified until him. Rob is the type of celebrity you would want to pay to just hang out at your BBQ with your family and friends friends. Wish that guy much more success in life and many more blessings.
Man this makes me appreciate Adam Sandler in a whole new level. He always helped his friends to shine and Rob is the proof of that. Love their friendship!
There's so much better friendship between celebrities out there than this. Like Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell or Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Not this.
@@RisingBeast00 There is no point in saying what you said other than to be negative. You know none of these people personally. Does it really hurt your feelings that some random person on youtube likes Adam Sandler and Rob Schneiders friendship?
I personally love him in The Hot Chick😂😂😂
Brad M Yessss
I love that movie
One of his best
Its me Jessica!
taquito
I've never noticed how similiar his personality and mannerisms are to Michael Keaton.
For real! In the movie the animal when he takes the girl to dinner, he had some serious Beetle Juice vibes going on, and I thought he was Michael Keaton for a split second there.
I just wrote that! LOL I really started to notice it on his TV show Rob because he uses his deeper voice a lot more on it.
SAME
Now that you say that....love your username BTW!
I noticed how your nym is... kinda lame. I think it should be Tard O'Trumpturd.
Rob is such a cool guy! I had the pleasure of meeting him when he came into the dispensary I worked at and he was the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. He took pictures with me and my coworkers and totally made our whole day and whole year for that matter.
Thanks for the awesome memories Rob!

it is one thing to be a comic actor who can read a script in a funny way. Rob is actually a funny guy. Considering how many of his roles were improvised, it shows he is a real comic genius, not just "one of Adam's friends"

I don't think Rob knows how much of an impact he had on not only my life, but everyone's life growing up.
i remember going to the college with my brother while they were editing the audio for 'Real Rob' and i remember he was there and meeting him was surreal, for sure one of the best moments of my life
Rob Schneider has always been one of my favorite actors. Not many people have taken such little screen time and have had such iconic characters.
12:00 “Eat our pineapple, make my sister clean your hotel room” lol
no The Animal or The Hot Chick?
come on with Deuce Bigalow those are his trifecta
these 3 movies are his crown jewels that always bring laughs

No KENNY?! No DERP!?!?
I kept waiting for The Hot Chick cuz that movie will bring me out of ANY slump, its absolutely hilarious.
It's me😢, Jessica
Ula is definitely my favorite role of his
I was laughing so hard as he was talking about that role 😂
He's gotta have a podcast, he's a genuinely funny dude
Sounds like he's a super humble dude. Great trait to have!
Moral of the story, if you ever want to make a movie figure it out later
I mean, that's legitimately good advice for a lot of people.
Commit to it and figure out the details later.
Gets you past the "planning that never ends" thing lots of people get trapped in.
Rob Schneider is an iconic character actor, dude has provided me entertainment for decades at this point. He makes every movie he is in funnier. Really appreciate this mans career
Hip hop anonymous is still one of my favorite Adam Sandler movie lines
I bet Rob Schneider could do an Excellent Michael Keaton impression ✌
That's hilarious, I was thinking the exact same thing watching this interview! There's moments here where he sounds like him lol
Same. Hahah
I sold a pair of expensive socks to rob when I was in retail, he actually talked to my buddies and I for like 10 minutes...after the conversation ended I looked at my buddy and said “wow rob Schneider is super chill”
My friend grabbed his head like it was going to explode and replied “that was rob Schneider!!!??”
He will always and forever crack me up. Such a good actor so humble.

Adam Sandler seems to be a Great guy.
He’s a legend.
50 first dates is one of my fav movies , its so funny and touching , love Adam and Rob.
What a great guy. Saw him on a standup show, he hung out and made sure everyone got a picture and handshake. ❤️
I'm just now rediscovering Rob Schneider. He's underappreciated for sure. Very funny guy!
Benchwarmmers and Hot Chick should have been in there
Bad Dub your also forgetting as well as The Animal and Big Stan too
Don’t forget Zohan
I notice Judge Dredd isn't there
he is one of my favorite actors... he is like the cherry in the pie in so many movies I really enjoy! GOD BLESS ROB!!!
My favorite movie that Rob Schneider is in is Surf Ninjas! I remember watching that movie as a kid and rewinding his scenes over and over and laughing hysterically!
Rob has always been a funny guy, and it is great to see a supporting (non-leading) guy have a great career, in no small part to what a great guy Sandler is.
I've never heard Rob Schneider talk off camera before, and he is really a down to earth , pretty serious type guy. Props to the man who makes a great career out of funny charactors, like the one in 50 dates...and he was absolutely right..that scene where Drew Barrymore starts wailing on him with the bat, the whole audience was howling...it was awesome.
Rob is the best small-role guy ever. His best stuff is SNL.
I love he’s character on “you don’t mess with the zohan” lol 😂 me and my cousin would always quote he’s voice of characters in all he’s movies.
Rob Schneider doesn't look like he's ever thought or said anything funny in his life but is actually a comedic genius.
WHAT ABOUT HOT CHICK?
I love hot chick!!
If you shake it more than twice, you’re playing with it.
Hot Chick is his second best straight comedy performance, after Big Stan.
What about The Animal
I wonder if it’s controversial now
"you can do it" loved that line in the waterboy movie lol Rob snieder is a great comedic side person in the movies, someone who can spruce up a shoot, and he was great in that one Seinfeld show too where he played Bob working in Elaine's office and was death and the one part when she takes his hearing aid and flips out when the alarm goes off
Freaken love him!! Always loved seeing him with adam and the other actors that always come out together
Rob Schneider will forever be one of the funniest people alive to me . Such a legend

God I love Rob Schneider. His take on life and acting is what I wish more actors would hold. "Eh, we'll just figure it out" is an amazing model for comedy. I honestly think Schneider is the most underrated of the guys in Adam Sandler's orbit.
Rob is one of the greatest comics alive, so amazing how Adam has literally taken his career off and brought his buddies along for the ride
Dude that scene with him reading off the cue cards is hysterical!
Rob Schneider seems like a genuinely nice guy. I’d like to see more of him in film and tv. Maybe throw him into a serious role like they’ve done with Adam Sandler. I think it would be cool to see.
