The "found footage" sort of "old tv" look made this conversation 10x more real. And mind you im an artist that suffers from the same egotistic expectation of grandeur without any effort.
I discovered this yesterday. Idk what im gonna do but something that i like to think of is, "Fortune favors the bold" and i used to think i was bold but im beginning to think my ego has duped me into seeing my dreams as a valid submission for said fortune.

Glad the vibe is resonating. We film with three Flip cameras from the early 2000s. Love the look.
I think a lot of us suffer from this ego thing unfortunately. Glad our discussion about it resonated with you. If you subscribed, welcome to the channel! -M

On days when the shittier side of my character is winning I start repeating the mantra "You'll know it's the right thing to do because you won't want to do it" and then I do the thing and feel better knowing I am now somewhat more likely to be in the timeline where I do the right thing more often than not

That’s such a great framework for guiding decisions. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry tells George that if every decisions he’s made with his life is wrong then the opposite must be right. So George does the opposite of his natural instinct and becomes wildly successful 🤣
Thanks for tuning in and dropping a comment 🙌 -M
