For the less than 10% of my audience from Europe, I hope I did your region's food some justice! 🇩🇪🧀 Thanks for watching, and subscribe if you would like to join me on my mission to educate the world about what it's like for people like me to live with blindness! ❤
Hilarious. Maybe you do have superpower taste buds but you're keeping it a secret. 😄 Here in the states, there are a couple of popular brands that make licorice candy. One is called Red Vine and the other Twizlers. I personally think they are both equally disgusting because they barely have the licorice taste. There are different flavors, two including strawberry and red and black. I am more of a purist, so I always like black which is the original. I think European licorice taste much better than the crap that most stores sell here. I'm a bit of a cheese fiend. I haven't had any kind of cheese that I don't like, and yeah, German cheeses are the best. (By the way, your German accent did not sound like a German accent at all. Sorry, dude. 🤣🤣 I studied German for several years, and I have also sung a lot in German. It's pretty hilarious to hear someone who can't do a German accent properly. I'm sure you probably could if you were more serious.) Anyway, I was slightly envious that you have all that cheese. Maybe by the time this video has posted, most of it is gone? Me and cheese love each other. I could seriously eat it every day, and a lot of it. I don't, though. Glad you were able to get some. I remember when I was living in Vietnam, when we did have cheese, it was such a luxury. Now that I have access to lots of it, I never take it for granted. Admittedly, I have always associated Vicks with those awful mint things and rubs. I had no idea that they make candy as well.
Well if I'll neither confirm nor deny if I have a superhuman level sense of taste. The Justice League or Avengers might come after me if I said anything. 😉 Yes, I've tried other forms of common brand liquorice like Twizzlers and they definitely are just marketed to be candy more than "real" liquorice. European "drop" liquorice is awesome, and I really love black liquorice just like you. I guess we both have a fine sense of taste! I like cheese well enough, though I don't necessarily go crazy over it. That said, this batch of cheese was so incredible, it's almost all gone. The spicy one has shrunken by about 80% in size and the salty smoked one has totally gone into my stomach. And yes, I was very aware after listening back to my practice recordings that my German accent was absolutely awful. I'm confident I could learn it if I tried but I didn't have that kind of time before recording my video. 😂 Finally, yes Vicks has a surprising number of products they make. The mints and other candy have wormed their way into my life as one of the few things I've allowed myself to become dependent on (the other is coffee). Anyway thanks Khanh for your comment as always, and I'm super glad you enjoyed the video! More "serious" topics where I answer common questions about blindness are coming next week. I just made these casual ones to buy myself some time since I'm in a really busy crunch period right now. Take care, and I'll see you next week in the comments!
