Another good vid mate, I started in a tent then bought a Ford c,max and took the back seats out and that did me the misses and a little dog then I bought a caravan and a Ford mondeo but didn't like the campsites so I flipped a few caravans and bought 14 plate vivaro van and converted it it's the best move I ever made proper comfortable, toilet shower the lot best of all no more campsites just loving the wild stuff. I've only just got back today and watching you makes me want to get back out there. Thanks for the vids
Not gonna lie someone slips me 20k I'm gone lol, nit but seriously u on it mate its about getting out and doing something, alot of us are just normal ppl without masses of spare cash for vans and motorhomes but converting that vehicle we use for the grind in the week to a sneaky car camper on the weekend gives us the chance to get out there in the same spots as the big Bois and and tbf once uve got it setup it can be pretty cosy .... u only live once eh, can't wait 5-10 years saving up lol give it a go mate urll love it

small world i did that very same loop on the very same day except i did it in reverse to you. i remember passing you as you stood out in that Newquay hoodie, and then i click on a random dude walking in the north York Moors and its your good self. a great walk apart from being ankle deep in mud around that farm. enjoyed your vlog

@@wanderingwhere, we were in Whitby last Sunday and Staithes on Tuesday. There’s a cool ginnel (footpath) in Staithes between two houses that’s too narrow to walk down unless you turn sideways. It’s called ‘Dog Loup’. Did you see the ‘Whale Bones’ on West Cliff in Whitby? When the whaling ships returned to port the tradition was to strap whale jaw bones to the mast to indicate to the waiting womenfolk that it had been a successful voyage with no crew fatalities.

Hey man, thanks not sure i got too many great views on the second day was a bit of an odd one but the 3rd and 4th were fantastic honestly made this trip one of the best yet, so much so i came back to leicester and started looking for 'grind' up that way, amazing area really touch a bit of my sould u know, with the youtube im honestly feeling blessed ppl enjoy the videos and time will tell and the grind, lol well u know u know, something will come up, take it easy mate, stay stealthy
Great video as usual I suggested warming your flask first! But I’ll just add: if your flask is warm on the outside it’s knackered. Should feel cold on the outside. Invest in a decent flask possibly a stainless steel one. Should still be too hot to drink after 8 hours. But… once it’s half empty the cold air will cool down the remaining liquid. Sill preheat it with boiling water first. And get some diapers…
Lol next upgrades a lady funnel, but yeh my flask is rubbish definitely need a decent, geeza at the grind had one u press the lid and it told u the temperature inside, double walled the way to go though ur right, not gonna lie I do love a brew on the trail pop just doesn't cut it

Great adventure 4 days....sink or swim go for it....it may be a sign...follow ur gut....also why not get ur self a small jet boil all in one camp stove....only takes you 5mins. To boil ur water for java or tea....might come in handy if ya left out over nite....instant soups, oatmeals do it on the cheap...since ur hikes are half ur videos....nice start to 2022...a good luck mate

Hi mate. Please, could you tell me where you can buy those curtain mounts that you glue on at the beginning of the video? I already broke my brain thinking how to hang curtains in the car😊, but you gave me a great idea, thanks a lot👍
They were a bracket off an old table but before I found them I was starting to make the same thing out of a small piece of wood, or u could try a bungie cord on the clothes handles above the front doors if u have them then have enough material to stretch it back to cover everything up .
If by some miracle I get money to get some ground I would have a bit fir car camping with showers composting loos a wee kitchen bothy with a larder where you can take stuff or leave stuff with a fridge a wasker dryer and a bit fir recycling
cheers, its cosy and practical with nearly everything i need, ..... i guess i could stay at home and save up for a few years to buy something fancy...or i could use that cash to go on trips every week Uknow 😉

When it warms up a bit, you should get up the lake district, or else along the north east coast from Eyemouth south. I camp all over but in a tent or tarp. Loads of ideas for you up north, it's not always foggy :D
Love the lakes planning a trip soonish that way to do scarfell again but I want to try and hit the coast a bit there also, tried before but just found a nearly sto ey beach, honestly until last year don't think except for one trip to the lakes I don't think I'd ever been further north than the peak district but the more I go up there now the places I jeep dreaming of relocating to, nym on this trip blew me away, Staithes, Sandsend, and Robin hoods Bay phew, stunning, a real feeling of community with a culture really got me
@@wanderingwhere Yeah, That's quite a few good sites! I wild camp the North East coast all the time, but I do it in a tend because I don't drive :) Lots of sneaky locations for a stealth one, over the North West too. Give me a shout if you want any inspirations!
i feel your pain, i used to grind 7 days a week and 4 of those were 16 hours shifts, 5 years, left with nothing but a bunch of material trinkets in the house, is it possible for you to go late the night before your day off, if you have it setup, rumble late, get your head down when u get there and wake up in nature :)

They were a bracket off an old table but before I found them I was starting to make the same thing out of a small piece of wood, or u could try a bungie cord on the clothes handles above the front doors if u have them then have enough material to stretch it back to cover everything up .

I camp all over but in a tent or tarp. Loads of ideas for you up north, it's not always foggy :D
Love the lakes planning a trip soonish that way to do scarfell again but I want to try and hit the coast a bit there also, tried before but just found a nearly sto ey beach,
honestly until last year don't think except for one trip to the lakes I don't think I'd ever been further north than the peak district but the more I go up there now the places I jeep dreaming of relocating to, nym on this trip blew me away, Staithes, Sandsend, and Robin hoods Bay phew, stunning, a real feeling of community with a culture really got me

The grind is a pain I only have 1 day a week off, sometimes not even that. It really limits adventures
i feel your pain, i used to grind 7 days a week and 4 of those were 16 hours shifts, 5 years, left with nothing but a bunch of material trinkets in the house, is it possible for you to go late the night before your day off, if you have it setup, rumble late, get your head down when u get there and wake up in nature :)

deffo on the cards for a future trip like i mentioned ive found an old OS map of the kinder scout area/edale way so id like to give it a go there
