Amazing sound quality! Way better than most of the other songs! It is a breathtaking version of A Forest!!! I was there. Never forget! Best concert in my life (not only because I was 18 back then).
The 1992 versions were better, but they grew out of the 1989, 1990, 1991 versions for sure. Now, they are boring and the same every time. Still a great song and I love it, but...
Clapping and yelling "hey" and "woooooo" really adds a lot to live music. It would suck to just have to listen to the music or enjoy the moments betweeen the notes. I see beer was cheap in 90 too....
I wish very much so that the cure would leave behind pre-recorded backing tracks so they could jam out songs and improvise like they once did in this video. It was the best cure in the past
They still do some improvisation on this track live. Like that time in 2016 Simon stopped before the end and then Robert picked up the bass to finish it.
@@jimh1998 hello Jim The cure of newer era with Jason on drums started to perform after 1998 tour with pre recorded tracks. This means that when they play there is often a pre recorded drum sound playing the same time as Jason, there are percussion sounds you hear that aren’t being performed live, they come from the electronics box right next to his drum set activated by him or his drum tech, because of this the songs all start and finish the exact same way with no room for improvisation. The light show and the video screen are all in sync too everything is down to a tee If you notice now all cure songs start with generally Jason clicking sticks together counting 1-2-3 so he can start in time with the beep beep beep metronome in his ear piece. It is much different than the Boris years. In golden era of cure there was no pre recorded tracks to fatten the live sound or drummer playing to metronome The band was all live and allowed to jam out and improvise and be as live as possible. You will notice the feel is much different and it makes every performance just a bit different than the last They are older now and they get a little help from technology which is okay but not as cool as being all live
I was there in Leipzig 1990 it was a hot summer day and the best pice of music, I have ever seen.
Ich auch

One of the best version .
Best bass player ever, we´ll miss you Dear Simon.
I have listened twice live in Mexico City, in the longest concert by The Cure 😎
Jednym słowem Robert ZAJEBISTE !
Amazing sound quality! Way better than most of the other songs! It is a breathtaking version of A Forest!!! I was there. Never forget! Best concert in my life (not only because I was 18 back then).
😢❤ Never heard music like this ! Beautiful voice and awesome bass line : Robert Smith and Simon Gallup . Thanks for this emotional song !
I saw them in Madrid in that tour... the end song was A Forest. 20 minutes of pure music discharge.
SPEECHLESS ALWAYS WITH MIND OPEN TO LISTEN MUSIC FROM THIS BAND....
Best live cure lineup. Wish Porl and Boris were still in the band.... They're still awesome though
Esta versión de "A Forest" es sin duda una de las mejores.
Best ❤❤❤
Proper music ,not like the rubbish we have to suffer now😢
Old man alert.
Greatest version of a forest ever. Love the national guitar ❤

Saw them at Crystal Palace on this tour , only 19 yrs old, pls take me back 🍺
First one I've seen with Robert playing the Airline guitar.
Best year for The Forest version of madness 1990/91 remains the opening to improvisation in concerts.
Still good.
Will always be good.
Best live performance ever in my opinion
Always had birmingham 87 at top but this is the daddy
The best version ever!
Мощь, красота, меланхолия...
我心中最好的版本
Boris' drums sound so punchy in this production!
Something missing in Jason's sound, unfortunately.
Clapping and yelling "hey" and "woooooo" really adds a lot to live music. It would suck to just have to listen to the music or enjoy the moments betweeen the notes. I see beer was cheap in 90 too....
PERFECT ;o))
Jolly good show! I say ?! X
The Cure 🤝 Mayhem
Live in Leipzig 1990

@@ian_5184 out of near 100 shows on that tour that is the one difference I. A forest
Hardly counts as improvisation compared to the old days
im very sure that u put a just like heaven remastered version of this show, what happened with that video? :((((((
Do caralho !!!
It's definitely a nag to say it, but Boris. Damn. Guy can play the drums.
