    I always thought that if I clean my teeth 3x a day and see my dentist regularly then I will be fine. So not true! I have periodontal disease and have dental triangles between every tooth. I recently decided to change my diet by removing sugar, taking an oral probiotic, and oral vitamins from Therabreath. It is working wonders! My mouth feels cleaner and healthier!!
    Thank you for taking the time to educate people. My dentist elluded to diet and mouth bacteria, but never offered any solutions, except to do 3 month cleanings. I had to do research on my own to learn about the right mouthwash and toothpaste. Seriously!

      Me too! I’m so angry 😠. I feel that my dentist let me down by not educating me, simply cleaning my teeth without guidance. I’m taking Usana oral probiotics and chewing xylitol gum after a meal.

    My dad lost all his teeth. I had an argument with him that he lost them because he didn't floss or brush enough. He thinks flossing and brushing are only for teeth. It is for gums as well. My dad always has very bad breath and I have to hold my breath when he talked to me because it stinks so bad. I now know it is because of bad bacteria in his mouth. I didn't know it could transfer either. I am glad that I hold my breath or turn my head. Thank you for this information.

    my teeth are beautiful and I have all of them. Its those darn crowns creating problems underneath them. I went in for my standard teeth cleaning and with new xrays I'm told I have gum disease and i have no gum issues or pain of any sort. The problems are all under my crowns, not on my natural teeth. I do grind my teeth. I'm menopausal and eat mostly a vegetarian raw diet and do lymph detox cleanses often. What do do?

    Those who don't take care of their mouth probably don't watch what they eat. That could be a BIG component of why gum disease and heart disease are often correlated. A study on overall general hygiene and food choices would be more beneficial IMO

    Oh my God I knew my health is the way it is because of my teeth! I hope you read your comments and reply. I live in the US and on State dental insurance and there are no Holistic Dentists in the area especially ones who take Gov. Funded insurance. I saw a cosmetic dentist in 2001. Although my teeth were straight after having braces and I had never even had a cavity and was in my 30's, I didn't like the fact my teeth were so small and stained from antibiotics I had to take from birth til age 11. I wanted my gum line lasered higher and the no shots thin veneers that are bonded to the front of existing teeth. When I went to my appointment I should have walked out when she handed me Wine and said "it would help me to relax." Long story short, she filed my top 8 teeth into tiny pointy nubs, put ugly "temps" on and said to come back in 2 weeks. I spent 29 hours in her chair during those 2 weeks having to get shots to numb the pain just to eat. She filed my eye tooth so much it got infected. She had to root canal it before putting on the caps. Now I just turned 50. From 2001 til now, I've had to have 4 teeth pulled due to cavities, I've been hospitalized for countless kidney infections. I have high blood pressure and had a mild stroke at 47. Four of the 8 teeth have been root canaled, well 3, and one attempted one because a dentist broke a file up in my tooth canal a year ago and its still in there. The 2 front teeth have broken many times and are composite resin. In the last year I've had bronchitis, pneumonia and 2 kidney infections with the most recent one turning into sepsis. (blood poisoning) I changed my diet, no red meat or pork, a salad and an avocado every day, no sugar drinks or pop or fast food. I use no fluoride. I brush with activated charcoal 3× a week, coconut oil once a week and non fluoridated toothpaste the rest of the time. I'm so sick of and scared of all these Dentists around here I haven't even seen the Surgeon to have the file removed that's been in a year! My gums look bad. The cosmetic dentist left seams so I'm sure what's left of the real teeth underneath may be rotting. I tried suing her but my certified mail was returned. I called ADA they told me she voluntarily withdrew her licence and fled the state as she had multiple suits pending. I have found her, know everything about her and what shes done since 2004. Its way past statute of limitations but she really needs to at least pay for them to get fixed. My smile is ugly now. She got a CA licence but was revoked when they found out the counts against her in my state. She taught an implant class without a licence and she has a Dental office in Baja Ca (Mexico border) with no Dental Licence and phony achievement certificates on her wall. Guess my long story short isnt so short! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My email can be found on my channel. Oh yeah same as my channel name Mistyrious1111 at gmail. Thank you

    Thanks for the information; I'm glad you told us about the peroxide. I live in the U. S. where by law anyone having her mouth professionally cleaned must undergo x-rays once a year. Is that the case in Australia? I've had dental damage done by a dentist here and am trying to recover the ligament area for Tooth Number 3. I'm using the Quantron Resonance System (pulsed electromagnetic fields) that Dr. Sherry Rogers mentioned in her book Detoxify or Die, because she was able to successfully treat a traumatized tooth root with it. But, I'm not sure yet that it is working (3 weeks). Is there work you know has been successful for this condition besides the one mentioned above and perhaps ozone? Improvement by diet, fish broth and nanosilver has been very slow.Thanks.

    Great video, I am 53 and have type 2 diabetes, also sleep apnea. I have been researching and working with my Dr. on this issue for over a year now, and this is part of my research. My Dr cannot figure out why my Medicine is not working. I have been working on my diet, and have also lost weight. Why is it that Medical Dr's are so opposed to natural healing? I have not been one to take good care of my teeth over the years, and part of my research has led me here. I am thinking it is not too late, thank you so much for reconfirming my research. I believe you are right about the food today, basically it is poison. Once I stopped eating that crap, and learning how to get my body to absorb nutrients, I lost weight really fast.

    I don't do any of the bad things you've said here and I do all the good things- I eat really well- I'm a holistic nutritionist and teach people how to eat whole foods. I also last year cut out all sugar (even unrefined types like honey). This drastically reduced my inflammation. I use an electric toothbrush and I floss multiple times a day. In other words, I have excellent oral hygiene. I have seen a dentist regularly (every six mo.s) my whole life- and the hygienist always says there's so little plaque that there's nothing for her to do. I still have constant decay. I also have just been told my gums are so bad that they might need surgery.....(on top of the multiple crowns, cavities, etc.)

    Can you use the 3% hydrogen peroxide as a rinse every day? I asked my dentist and she said I should dilute it with half water. And in the next breadth she tells me that I can use a whitening tray every day to keep my teeth white. I would think the concentration of the peroxide in the whitening product has to be much higher than 3%. Also does peroxide only kill the bad bacteria? For years I have heard this…and then A few weeks ago I saw some articles that stated it with also kill the good bacteria.

    I just wished I had someone preferably a dentist to educate me on what to do with my teeth and what not to do yesterday I got so scared a wanted to cry I have been brushing my gums with my medium bristled toothbrush my gums are raw from me doing this maybe even a little red (inflammed too I imagine) my gums just feel raw and sore from me practicing this I have been doing this for a while and also I grind kind of hard on my teeth when I wake up my jaw is sore teeth are a little sore but never intolerable and my gums are sore and brushing them with my tooth brush makes it feel even worse and I will definitely stop doing this I notice that the parts of my teeth that I may have grind the hardest the gum by those teeth or tooth is really sore but I notice if I grind less on that area the gum by that area or areas don't hurt in the morning but lately I had one are where the gum really hurts and seems like it's gotten a little more painful so now this one particular part wasn't hurting it would stop hurting when didn't grind for that night but now it hurts consistently I started out with just one part hurting now I have 2-3 parts of my gums hurting I need to stop grinding it's making the condition of my teeth and gums worse just recently I have been using listerine thinking it would kill germs so that I could heal my gums I use it every night and I do that listerine so that I won't have to brush my gums like I had been doing I learned to use listerine not my tooth brush I just need to stop grinding and I have already stopped brushing my gums my gums hurt but not my teeth sensitive but they don't hurt just my gums hurt and afraid of the dentist my dentist was saying I need some root canal just because my teeth were so close together but it's mighty funny the ex ray never indicated any signs or symptoms of any cavities and even though my gums bled really bad in which they said was a bad sign but they said that the gums did look ok can you give me any advice

      Like any anti-bacterial it can if used to extremes. However using it in an mouth rinse or toothpaste form time to time should not.

    Is it possible to reverse gum disease?

    • @EvolveDentalHealing
      @EvolveDentalHealing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes - early gum disease where the gums bleed can be reversed. In more severe cases where also bone has been lost, the bone cannot regrow but the gum disease can be stopped so that no more damage is done.

      so long as your diet is anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants it will support gum health. Protein intake is also important to help your body repair.
