I remember playing both MK1 and MK2 on Super Nes at my friend’s house. The second one was awesome, but the first one just feels off without blood and bad controls. I was more of Street Fighter 2 kid😃

Was a big release for me. Even though i wasn't much of a fighting game guy. As the frenzy allowed me to trade my 6 button sega controller to a friend for his entire comic collection.

Mortal Kombat is still popular and relevant today but not as much. There was nothing at all like it back then when it first came out. And then when Mortal Kombat 2 released? The hype and excitement was through the roof! You can't go back and relive it but youll always remember just how awesome the 90s were! 😆🤘🤘🤘

According To Ed Boon When Asked Why Liu Kang Doesn't Have A Fatality In The First Game He Said:Well It Makes Sense Why He Doesn't If You Take His Background Into Account of Being A Monk Which Aren't Known To Be Very Violent & Are Pacifists Hence Why He Doesn't Have A Fatality In MK1. They Changed That For The Sequel
