Those are some good plates of food right there I like them like that skin and all as you did as well you can't beat a plate of food like that. You know there is something that I like to eat along with fish in particular, its called tostones (there are videos on how too) and its easy enough for even I to do. You would need 3 green plantains (no yellowing) you cut both ends off and peel them they don't peel easy you may need to pry along with a knife, once they are peeled you cut them in chunks about 2" wide. At this point they will require a fry you will need a pan with about an inch or so deep of oil in it and once the oil is hot add the chunks of plantain in there (standing on end) This is the 1st fry now that they are frying in the pan fry them for about a minute and a half or under two minutes and flip them to do the same on the other end.. So this first fry softened the plantain chunks somewhat.. Have a plate with paper towel on stand by and place the chunks of plantain on the paper towel Now you take the chunks of plantain and you need to flatten them (they make a plantain masher which is two pieces of wood with a hinge on one side) you could also "carefully" place them in between two plates and and press down on them individually they will flatten to a disc shape about 4" across, once you've done this to all of them you give it a second fry for about 2 minutes on each side (you are looking at this point for a golden color careful not to over fry) and then they go back to the paper towel and are ready to eat just add some salt.. I guess you can serv 3 or 4 with each plate of food or however many you choose / This is a long comment but you can see that its quick and easy
Watching from a hotel in Augusta GA working storm. After busting it all day to get power back on, it’s great to have a Bama Saltwater video to watch. Awesome video as always
As Always,,,Awesome Video Brother !!! Looks Sooooo Delicious !!! You NEVER DISAPPOINT With Your Videos !!! I Always Love Your Catch,Clean, and Cook Videos !!! PLEASE KEEP UM COMING !!!
It’s cool how you fish with your mom. Used to fish with mine every weekend and I swear it was her favorite thing to do. Honestly some of my best memories
As always, another great video sir. I have so much respect for you grinding to put out all these videos. You must be doing so much work off camera to produce this content and I appreciate it (I’m sure everyone else does too). Keep up the great work.
Thank you!!! It's definitely a challenge and effort adding a camera but it's amazing sharing our experiences! I'm glad you appreciate it !! Tight lines and God Bless!
Glad you guys made it through the hurricane, I was thinking about you guys after seeing the lost of life and all the damage it did, thought for sure you guys were in trouble. So happy that the good lord was watching over you guys. 😊
Nice to see you and your mom are okay. It's so neat seeing the dolphins. Though probably not good when you want to keep the fish....lol Such a beautiful sunset.
Thank you!! And I fully agree!! Even though it may mess with the fishing, it's always a blessing to see everyday what most people would love to see just once!
@MamaSaltwater I have no doubt of that..I raised myself since I was 9 years old & 54 years ago,, That wasn't cool either..But the jokes on them because I survived anyway..Lol.
You are so Lucky 🍀 to have your mom fishing 🎣 with you. None of my family members like fishing 🎣 and they all think 🤔 something is wrong 😑 with me because i enjoy fishing 🎣. They say i must be brain 🧠 dead 😵 lol 😂. I can care less because I will fish 🎣 regardless of who thinks what, but it’s mind boggling to me how people love when i give them fish to eat and yet call me brainless for being a fisherman 😁. GOD Bless and tight lines 😁🙏🎣
Man I really love your videos. This morning I watched this video on my 65 inch tv instead of my phone what a difference. As always great video and as always you have made me hungry.
Love watching your content man! I’m from Dallas, Texas and watching your stuff just makes me vicariously feel like I live and the coast and get to go fishing often and eat all that delicious fish you catch! Keep doing what you’re doing.
I think I have finally got caught up with ALL of your videos. Have only been watching about 2 months. (binge watching). Really enjoy all of your videos. Keep them coming.
I fish freshwster on my channel. But I watch you all year long just hoping I can learn something for my once a year beach fishing trip. Love your content. God Bless my friend.

October 16th 2024 i am hooking up my 17ft mako and heading down to orange beach boat ramp. My first time ever fishing there. So i hope i have good luck. I have some questions being my first time there. But we will see how it goes. I like the variety of fish you catch. If i see ya i will say hey, keep up the great fishing
Great videos buddy, been a sub for a long time love watching each and every one of them. Have a question, can you recommend a large bait caster style reel that can be casted that can handle stuff like large bull reds etc. I live in the Houston area and fish the Galveston bay and coast around that area.
Have you ever visited Rockport or Port Aransas Texas? Great fishing there I'd love for one day maybe you take a trip to the Texas Coast! Love the content!!
I use a Sienna fast action rod, and O boi is it perfect especially with my speedy casting, I usually use spider wire because it’s a super cool and reliable neat line
i got a question for you alabamers. I live in ky and i want to move to Alabama. I have visited alabama twice and i love it there. what is the cost of living and where is the best area to live if i want to go fishing. Of course i dont want to pay 800k for a home but i want to live close enough to the ocean. Thank you
Mom is cool as heck. Bring her more often if ya can

That Mangrove Snapper have exploded in our area in the last decade here inshore. They really taste good. Tell Mom hello from an old crab here.
Yeah buddy let's get it, brudda
Awesom video👍👍 love when you have mom on the boat.
If i was your neighbor I'd mow your yard every week just for the fish you give away.
Haha, thank you and that'd be a good trade lol !!
Mom had a long dry spell of no bites so I was wondering if Steven remembered to bait her hook. Glad she didn't get skunked.
Haha ikr... I knew how to fish this spot well after some scouting ,I brought mom here but the wind was terrible and made it hard to get good casts!
You definitely have the most vibrant thumbnail on TH-cam!

Sorry I’m an hour late again, Stephen! Cable guy. You know how that can go. God bless you and your family and thanks for sharing another great video.
Stephen thumbs up as usual. Have you tried cooking with basil infused olive oil? I wish my mom could fish with me.

Great day of fishing

Shimano Tranx, Daiwa Lexa 200-300-400, or Penn Fathom's
Hey Bama, do you know any good charters in the Orlando area (1-3hrs away)? Im going in april and want to get on some big fish
Hey, I wish I could tell ya but I am unfamiliar with the Orlando area
Thanks👍
When the hard heads show up it's time to crank up. LOL
Hey Steven, I noticed you close your bail manually, does that add life to the reel?
not so much the reel, but it highly decreases chances of line twists / wind knots
Have you ever caught a cobia in the bay
Your neighbor moves lemme know 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Have you ever visited Rockport or Port Aransas Texas? Great fishing there I'd love for one day maybe you take a trip to the Texas Coast! Love the content!!
I have not ! I wanted to while I was stationed in Texas but never had the chance!

There ya go!! Used to use the old purple/gray sienna's and catch kings and jacks on em from the pier!
@@BamaSaltwater ye haha, it has a cork colored handle, its blank is black
@@BamaSaltwater it’s super reliable especially with the spider wire, so I call it “ol’reliable”(named after SpongeBob’s favorite jellyfishing net)
Do you have a cookbook out
I do not but I need to for sure!
So Steven how often have you had a dolphin steal your fish off your line?
A many of times, and it's super impressive (and appreciated lol) how dolphins never get hooked or touch the hook
