I’m just starting a rose garden. I headed out and purchased roses even before learning about them. Thankfully, I found your video. Thank you for all the information... after that slide show I think I’m going back to the store for more. 🥰
you are so knowledgeable and explained the concepts in this video perfectly! I got a little English climbing rose for my balcony.. but I face north and it never gets light so the poor thing never flowers. But it still is hanging on and grow : )!
Thank you very much for your kind information on rose. Your explanation is very easy to understand and helpful to understand more about growing rose. Many thanks for your video.
Thank you! very helpful video for the beginner gardener(like me) .My 6 year old daughter( with mommy) planted bean in container. It is already quiet big.Is it possible to grow it that way until mature stage? I wonder if it will have nutrients for all this time( we used organic potting mix from home depot). What kind of fertilizers(organic and natural) we could use and how often? Thank you again for all the videos and advice:-)
Hi, Justyna. I think you can leave it in the pot but I would definitely give it an organic nitrogen fertilizer since potting soil can be pretty sterile. Be sure to follow the label directions so you know how much to use. It shouldn't need much, though.
Hello again, S M. I have to admit I've never tried growing roses from cuttings so it wouldn't be a good video topic for me! I do know that you should take cuttings when the interior of the stem is white, but that's the sum total of my knowledge. I'm sorry I'm not of more help to you.
@@SusansInTheGarden Take cuttings in spring when they have bloomed, dip them in a rooting medium, place in peat pots and put in a place where they get filtered sunlight, keep moist. When root start showing through the pot, move to a 1-quart or 1-gallon pot.
3 Rose Bush died on me I think I may have watered them too much I've just planted another one so I'm hoping this one survives I don't know what I'm doing wrong
Oh that is a shame. Do you have an Extension office where you can get tips from Master Gardeners on how to grow them? That would be a great first step and they offer this information at no charge.
