I got upset and hit my father with a bat and he started hitting me constantly with his belt and I kept bleeding until u was knocked out unconscious. By the time I woke up, my father had killed my sister and was in jail. I had a similar instance with my second family but it wasn’t a severe. My second family cyber bullied me offline and ending up leaving me multiple times when they went on vacation. I am now living with my 2nd cousin’s family who really love me, I am so grateful to have a loving family🥰

I-am 27 year old guy ended up leaving India and living in Canada due to abusive friends, family.here’s my story my parents are very strict, especially my father who used to beat me crazy and embarrass me in front of people for my small mistakes . For some reason I don’t know I always used to be target for bullies in my class. They all used to beat, harass ,treat me real bad but I never confronted them because if I do they would me beat me real bad (always 1 v 5,6)I never used to tell my parents about my problems because I was afraid that I would get beating. My father used to run a small restaurant whenever I am off my school he used to make me work in the restaurant. The workers who used to work in the restaurant also started bullying me and my father would never say anything to them and they took advantage of it. My father would never allowed me go to play with friends he always wanted me to work in the restaurant. One day when I was 16 year old my father beat me like real bad I was crying all day and was thinking about my life why am I target ?? for everybody and I came to a conclusion that I was born I like this and I will be like this from then on started staying from friend, cousins, everybody. From that day I never made friends and never spoke with my old friends. I stopped going to family events, used to enjoy my self company. I liked girls in my class but never spoke with them because I was afraid that if my father get to know any relationship i am dead.I only used to go to church and pray to god that please change my life and make me achieve great things in life.all these years my self esteem ,confidence was really low and I never believed in my self I only thought that Iam fit for nothing. After finishing under graduation I was so afraid and scared to apply for jobs because that feeling of iam fit for nothing was deeply rooted in my brain even though I used to get 70 percent on my studies I was afraid people would say something. One day when I was 22 (just finished under graduation)he gain beat me real bad in front of my relative I was depressed and thought I should leave the house so, I packed my stuff and went to Mumbai that was on 2016. The only thing that I was worried leaving home was about my mom I knew she would be in anguish. I was roaming streets in Mumbai. Spent one night in a hotel my sisters kept on calling, texting me all this time but I didn’t reply or answer them. That next day morning they texted me that mom was really worried about me and didn’t have food ever since I left the house so, I returned that evening to home. My mom spoke with a uncle and she requested them to let me stay in their house for 4 months.i was thinking all the time when I was at uncles home to stay away from my world and go to other country and start new life and do any job to live if even there they said i am fit for nothing I could easily change jobs because I don’t really care any job as long as they pay me. I can’t do that in India because people would judge you and embarrass you for the type of work you do.So here I am in Canada came on a student visa somehow managed to finish two years and got work permit. I work as security guard and I am very happy that my supervisor never said anything wrong about mr and I am always careful about my duties but I have still the fear of I am fit for nothing in my brain. I am still scared to apply for good jobs because i might do wrong and have to face embarrassment even I have the caliber to do it. There is always struggle in myself.I hope someday I will get the courage to change my brain and get self confidence.
Edit : thank you every one who strengthened me with your words. This would really help me to build my self.

@@19bendunk the mental toll is the main tag line of abuse so if in the child’s mind it is just a punishment it won’t usually affect them mentally, but as a child it’s hard to speak up so it is a risky line just because every child sees things differently and may not say anything or realize what they are feeling. So it can stray into the area of mental damage and a warped view of their parent as they can become scared of them and then most experiences have that base of fear built in, so it does have to be balanced between loving in a way that a child can see and discipline.(most of the time when they’re older they will see that it is from a place of love I know I did, but I don’t see much of a reason to not discipline when needs be and love them the rest of the time it helps them to keep that loving relationship in mind.)

These kids together can easily kick this dad's ass if he ever tries to be abusive towards their mom.

I know.. they r acting. But they r portraying based on the real life issues.. maybe this is not happening in ur family.. but there are ppl who r facing these kinds of issues. Those victims should stand against such acts either by filing a complaint or defend themselves using violence if need be.

As a child who grew up with an abusive father, I can confirm that any boy who grew up in such environment could turn up to be the same, like my grandfather (R.I.P Grandpa, despite what you did you were such a great man) who abused my late grandmother to the point that it had caused her to get really sick and unfortunately, die. And my grandmother told my mother that she'll just end up like her with an abusive husband and my mom didn't seem to get it until she ended up the same, yesterday my dad broke her arm and she we could only just listen to their loud 'discussion' with my sister crying beside me..
"Violence is never the answer, until it's the only answer. Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat, for it is momentary." - MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
I don't encourage kids to stand up for their abused parent like I did with my mother because it always makes things worse and instead talk to their parents against it, it might be hard but it's not impossible.
