ily so so much erin 🥺💕 you’ve honestly made me feel so happy whenever I’m sad or down. You make me smile every single day and you always so incredibly beautiful and talented and of course my biggest inspiration! xx
Omg Erin you are the best youtuberin everrrr I love you’re videos and all your accounts on Instagram and TikTok !!!! You are the queen !!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
My dad built all my jumps for me. He even made me the cutest cavalettis! The only thing he bought beside wood & paint, were jump cups. Just a thought idk if you know any1 handy like that. But we saved a ton of money.
To maybe help Teddy with his canter lead after the jump, try putting the outside leg back slightly whilst over the jump. This helps with my horse, not sure what he's like in comparison but might be something to try :) sorry if this is rude lol, love your videos and brand
If Teddys has been educated like any other show jumper, then his clue would be a sligt weight change in the stirup for the lead you want. Meaning if you want to land in right canter, then you slightly put a little bit more weight in your right food right before landing and your horse should land in right canter ect. 🤣 Erin is used to applying pressure with her leg and changing her weight to do changes, but for a showjumper you should be able to do it while in the air. Which is also probably why teddy isnt that good at flying changes, because he probably hasnt had to do a lot of them throughout his life because he mostly has landed in the correct canter. So he probably just needs to learn the move in general.n
@@TKDDLJ09 i’m not trying to be rude at all, but i think if you’re trying to land right lead then you put weight in your left stirrup so they’re “forced” to land on their left leg and already be on right lead canter! 😊
@@kobethegolden But that is what they will automatically do, if you put weight on the right? at least my horses have all done that. Its also what I've always been taught by all my trainers since I started riding 20 or so years ago. 🤷♀ But in reality it just depends on what you teach the horse, because no matter what, no one ever rides the same way as each other. 🤣
@@TKDDLJ09 i’ve always been taught to lean toward the outside to land on the correct lead but like you said people and horses are all taught different ways 😁
I recently just started watching you and I absolutely love you and your horses. I hate to see that people are giving you crap for putting your brand out there by doing a what I’m wearing and then go like a video of a girl who is shaking her bum! I hope that this gets better for you in the future🐴💕
@@charliemachusko1411 Would she be trotting around on a Welsh Cob, in a field, not wearing makeup, or promoting her modelling and you would still say they are gorges? Just wondering.
Very interesting. Just goes to show that whatever the horse ends up doing (dressage, jumping, eventing, etc) a thorough dressage education to start with makes it a lot easier. It makes a show jumper more controllable. On the other hand using crosses and gymnastics rows in dressage training improves the gates and co-ordination. I am lucky to have a trainer who is a show jumper but has had extensive classical dressage training and uses her knowledge of both to come up with exercises for my Andalusian who does mainly dressage but loves to jump as well.
Horses are so beautiful Animals 😊 my favorite Gate is the walk and trot because the horse speed is fun!! I love 😍 your horse channel ❣️ so much 💟! 😍❣️💟Stay safe!!
You could try some magnetic chaps for teddy in the stable they are great for older horses especially as they help prevent them from going stiff as they encourage good blood flow when they are standing still 💖
Teddy and billy such an adorable lovely horses, they made a good performance of their show jumping challenge awesome,to train the horses is not a joke just takes time and fucos for a rapid development great effort Erin.
Yes, Erin, I did enjoy your experiment to jump ad compare both horses. As for the beginning it was necessary to lounge Billy (Your motto: "I am brave, but I am not stupid") as he was so fresh, full of energy and fire. You might have been in trouble, if you had mounted him without that exercise. Although I was surprised to notice, that immediately when you mounted, he was your good boy, calm and cooperative. My thumb is up for your excellent riding to have him listen so well. Teddy of yourse was much more relaxed. Was I right in noticing that you jumped Teddy with slightly shorter stirrups than Billy? And did it make a difference? And as to a crop: Why did you take a crop for Billy and none for Teddy? And you say that the horses adore jumping - but to me it is more important.that you, Erin, adore jumping at last so much as your horses. And your jumping position at 12:19 tells that your can go for much higher jumps. Well done, Erin!
Thank you! My stirrups were the same length for both, maybe they looked shorter due to the different build of horses? It’s possible! Billy is much slower from the leg so requires a whip, however teddy will go go go! So doesn’t need one! Thank you for your comment!
Sorry i messed the first comment up😂. I love your channel٫ you're literally my idle. You're beautiful and encourage me to do both dressage and show jumping.❤

They are light weight and very beautiful. So build you some jumps not hard to at all. Nice riding and she breeds and trains horses for this they been doing that for last 45 years breeding and training jump horses
