- In this video I finally finish up splitting some Hackberry rounds. This is the last of a very large pile of logs and rounds.
I was very grateful to be able to have those logs in my woodyard, but they were in a location where they were really in the way. Now that they are gone, as I find time I can start to reposition my firewood operation more out into the field versus right up against my backyard-road.
Thanks for watching!
Hard work
The rake sure did a good job. I think I need one😂 Good job Matt👍👍
@@outdoorsinthe608 Thanks! Yep,,, that rake on the tractor works well for cleaning slash and other woodyard debris. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoy "the hack" when it's cut green and frozen solid, otherwise I hate it. Makes wonderful boiler wood.
@tyharland1906 I don't mind it for firewood, not my favorite, but I ended up with a TON of it. Thanks for watching!
Hello Matt, I like your throttle control tool for the splitter. Are you going to complete your turn around area before winter? Good vid. Mike 🔥🪵
@thehogslogs8631 the pickaroon is definitely a multi-use tool!
I'll try to get to it by winter but no promises. 😁. Lots of family stuff planned this fall including my son's 16th bday! Got a couple other projects in the hopper right now too.
