I MET HER. I was an extra on her show Step By Step. I was told never to speak to the actors but when I saw her I thought, I don't care if they fire me, I'm going to say hello to Suzanne Somers. So I did and she could not have been kinder to someone. She asked me my name and spoke to me for a couple of minutes. I could hardly breath. Her husband called her and she had go, she said goodbye and good luck. I will never forget it.

Suzanne is an example of a person who others tried to put in a box. Suzanne had a soul blueprint for her life. Her vision of her life was bigger than all around her and even bigger than even she knew initially. Those Three's Company producers tried to limit her, tried to "put her in place." She followed her soul's blueprint and blazed her trail. She outdid all of them and lived by her own rules. She did it magnificently! What a bright star!

Thanl you so much for sharing this fascinating interview with Suzanne. This is exactly what I needed to hear. Kudos to you for having the right skills in order that Suzanne could truly speak her truth. Ripe with wisdom. Painful learning curves for Suzanne indeed. Many of us can relate to this kind of manipulation yhat we've experienced in our lives. Especially in our youth. I truly believe that it was a blessing for Suzanne to be fired from 3's company...Even the title of the show itself is symbolic of the fact that the producer's clearly weren't happy with Alan being 'extra company' not only in Suzanne's life but in their lives and the plans they likely had for Suzanne. Suzanne bring a real 'light' was actually in a vulnerable position with that crowd. We have heard about so many women in Hollywood who ended up being so abused. I'm so thankful she got 'out' when she did. I have so much respect for both Suzanne and Alan and I love them both. Both excellent examples and role models for people of all ages who just don't feel to follow the expected narratives or contracts in this matrix. Truly gifted and inspiring. So proud of Suzanne and she absolutely deserves respect. Smart Lady 💚💜💚💌

Awesome interview. I learned more about Suzanne this morning than I’ve known about her entire career. Though a rough and troubled beginning… She did learn through it and become a better person for it. She is absolutely right that she was in the right place and where she needed to be at this point in her life, I had always wanted to buy her seasonings and oils even her skin care, but could never afford the prices she had on them. Very proud of her products for sure 💕👍I know that they costly to produce. So unless I’m in a specialty shop somewhere in Southern California and find a rack of sale items, I probably will never get to taste Her delicious oils or vinegars…. also, I just found out that she believed in God. I have often wondered as I have watched her shows many times, and I’ve never heard her speak of God/her God or Jesus Christ. Though I found she and her husband a little conceited they were fun to watch in the kitchen. Having their cocktail with a vodka splash. God bless them all her children and her daughter-in-law, especially that will feel the impact most likely harder than the rest. As you can tell, I’m continuing to watch. I hope they are continuing to make money on her behalf.

This is the best interview of Suzanne Somers I’ve heard so far. She really talks about how misogynistic and sexist the producers of Three’s Company were, and how they screwed it up for everyone. Imagine if the producers listened to Suzanne’s ideas about Chrissy Snow, the show would’ve MADE MONEY to a point where Joyce DeWitt and John Ritter would’ve been set for life.

I dont understand how Laverne and Shirley were paid alot of money, but Suzanne was fired after alan hamel met her bosses to make a commision off her salary. She was suddenly disposable which was alans fault. My father knew Suzanne and liked her as a friend. There must have been something Suzanne's boyfriend alan did to put off her getting a raise. Alan used her to make money and the network didnt like alan.I have a feeling they didnt like the boyfriend, allan Hamel was and why they kicked her off the show and distroyed her reputation. Suzanne is being loyal to Hamel, but he did something to make the network dislike her. Suzanne is just sticking up for her botfriend when he was the one that destroyed her career to make a buck and she had to work much harder after that as if she was his work horset to make a percentage of her salary. She died and he's still alive living off her hard work. Sad.

Woman who are considered above average attractive (and Suzanne Somers had that in spades) know what it is like to experience when a mans desire to control them, own them whatever you want to call it. Even other women who have not had this kind of experience know of it, but perhaps do not realize how uncomfortable and stifling it can be, they instead get jealous and inflict further harm by hoping for their failure. Look at all the women Harvey Weinstein tried to dominate because he was in a position to do so. Hey Harvey Weinstein would have a hard time getting women who looked like Suzanne Somers, so he uses his power and position. The interviewer is right, that would not fly now - but then was still the time it did.

Like all cancers, breast cancer is likely to spread to certain organs oppose to other organs.
One of a few places breast cancer spreads to is the bones, which can lead to painful spinal cord compression and back pain.
When Suzanne had her fall and had neck and spine problems requiring surgery, it could've been because her cancer had spread to her bones, making her fragile / most likely to fracture more easily than if she was healthy.
I don't think any treatment for cancer is 100% effective.
There's always that chance of it returning. Some can be cleared only to have it return years later. Some people get it and are blessed not to get it again.

What a stupid statement , cancer is a process that you decide how to treat it . She lived decades after her diagnosis without traditional meds so many only last a few years on those poisons . She lived decades from it , and looked Amazing , healthy . Listen to her interview again and listen 👂 😊

Susan aged very badly. In my opinion I almost didn't recognize her. N her husband wanted more money. He messed up her career almost.

She was 76 years old and she looked great for her age. She loved her husband and had a very good life with him. MY daddy died when he was 76. We are not going to be here forever.
