In 2018, Kudaibergen, again, received many awards in China: In January he received a Weibo Award for "New Music Power of the Year",[164] a "Global Chinese Golden Charts Award" for "Best Artist of the Year",[165] and was honored as "Friendship Ambassador of China and Kazakhstan" and received the "Friendship Outstanding Contribution" Award at the Belt and Road International Spring Festival Gala.[166] Later in 2018, he was awarded "Most Popular Singer of the Year", at the "Top Global Chinese Music Awards", [167] and "Most Influential Singer of the Year" at the Silk Road Cohesion Awards in December, at which he was also honored as "Silk Road Youth Ambassador". [168]
He was also named as one of the "30 Under 30" Most Influential People by Forbes Magazine Kazakhstan.

Where is Dimash now? Why don't you check out his official TH-cam channel and find out? Wikipedia? He's been selling out concerts in Europe, and I saw his (sold out) concert in NYC. Would he even want to go platinum? He's an artist with his own ideas of what he wants to do, his very own trajectory. He's not about to be captured in the music industry meat grinder. He's about being himself, and millions love him.

Actually, he did have one album that came out in 2018 (I think) and it went platinum in 37 seconds. However, that's not how most of his music is marketed. Right now, by the way, he's in quarantine. However, he does have a studio at home. He can't have his production team there, but with just his voice he can do a lot, and the other equipment is there, too. Maybe he'll do something that was inspired by the current events. Or not.
You reacted to the song that launched his popularity across the world. You have to keep reacting. Realize you are 3 years behind on Dimash. He's popular now in China. He's popular in Russia. Of course hes popular in Kazakhstan. He has yet to totally conquer the English market. But that's coming. He had a phenomenal concert in New York in December but Then he's been gone on a Tour in Europe the last couple of months. Now all of that is interrupted by this flu thing. The young lady summarized Dimash perfectly and very quickly. Very impressive compared to many other coaches I have seen who took a while to figure him out. He started in opera but turned down the position of being solely an opera singer. He then studied other genres and has mixed them all together in a style he calls neo-classical or pop opera. He has a 6 octave range with the highest note being a D8. He's also studied stage performance, sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. His native languages are Kazakh and Russian which are the two languages spoken in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan was part of or controlled by Russia in the past but gained independence in the early 90's.

BRAZIL- Everyone is really surprised, because the producer of the Chinese contest did not let his rehearsals be watched, so the contestants were unaware of Dimash's vocal qualities. Just see everyone's surprised face. Dimash was very well received by everyone, but until then they thought he was an ordinary singer.
I have never heard a person sing so perfectly. First of all his stage presence, his body language, his confidence level and the way he delivers them all is perfection on another level. As he starts singing, each and every note he delivers is perfect. Then he turns into another person and delivers each and every note perfectly. His low notes, high notes, female voice, tones, semi tones, whistle notes, his whole vocal range and the level of control he has is mesmerizing and he can sing them all in more than 13 languages. I think Dimash is the most rare living being on this planet. He is one of a kind. I may be his biggest fan.

The US "The World's Best", tried very lamely to vilify him as the "Bad Guy" ; but watch how Dimash again repeated "his country's tradition does not compete with children" and graciously walked away and "wagged" his finger in response to the outraged judges of TWB.
Excellent response to answer the "Foolish and corrupt" (TWB Forum), who lied to Dimash.
Everyone in Europe and Asia who are acquainted that finger-wagging can concur, that's the most diplomatic, wise and silent manners of "fools" and arguments.
He has had concerts, most of them in STADIUMS and all of them are always a full house. The American general public might not now him but strangely, his concert in New York, Barclay's Center stadium was a full house too. Now that'a saying something. I won't say that he's not popular or unheard of, he's just NOT mainstream.
He released one CD (just one right now because he prefered to sing live) in China and it went triple platinum in minutes. So the answer to your question is YES. If he decides to make another album, I can guarantee you the same thing will happen again. Unfortunately, he focuses more on giving live performances right now.
In my opinion, that's the right thing to do though, because to experience Dimash fully, one need to attend his live shows. Recordings do no justice to his voice.
Plus, he has decided NOT to go mainstream. He prefers to climb to the top his own way and believe me, he's getting there. He sang in the European Games and Miss World btw.

During the filming of TV program "Singer" in 2018, "Hua Chenyu" has spent 48 hours to make an adaptation of the song .
He put in multi musical elements like vocal, rap, chinese tradional opera & rock. His stage performance was awesome & also amazing. You would never regret.

My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his singing career to the best of his ability the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his listeners around the world especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his career, his persistency, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
For all the readers of these reflections and commentaries about this piece of music performed by Dimash. If you think this is all helpful for the general public you can share it to others, I do really appreciate it. Song of Dimash in French “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
STORY BEHIND THE SONG: Credit to Daniel Balavoine the original artist of this song who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. That is why this song is sad mention in some of the lyrics…A soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress. .
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discern well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity or a means of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with great humility and discernment.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” St. Paul reminded us that “the sufferings of this present time are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters into human lives, our nature has been wounded, and we experience suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but it is part of the reality of our human lives now.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Our lives are measured by time, as with all other living beings on earth. Since it is unknown to all of us the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times, otherwise we are being caught by surprise of not being ready when God comes to take us to be with Him forever in our eternal home in bliss.
