I say that the iPad mini is for those who are looking for a power house tablet to use for many years for everything (gaming, TV, productive work via keyboard and pen). The tab a9 is for those who really just need a tablet for the basics like TV, e books and similar. I think the price reflects on that (rougly 150 Euros vs rougly 600-700 Euros for the iPad mini in my country). For most people the tablet is a device that is between the phone and laptop/PC, because many (including myself) have a powerful flagship phone and a decent PC or laptop and thus don´t need a powerful tablet to begin with. For example, I have a iPhone 14 Plus and a macbook air, thus a powerful iPad would be a waste of money considering I literally only use my tablet for TH-cam, Streaming and the occasional comic or E-Book.
I rather like iPad mini’s speakers design; whether the buttons are on the left or right side, if your hands covers the bottom holes, sound can still come out from the top holes.
Thank you for this video. I bought myself a Lenovo Tab M9 a few months back precisely because it is a lot more affordable than an iPad Mini, and I am happy with it. Sure, the latter is really great. But for my use cases (reading e-books, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, watching TH-cam), a much cheaper Android tablet will do. There are people out there who cannot afford an expensive iPad Mini, or simply unwilling to spend that much money on a tablet where they consume some content. If you’re talking handwritten notes, the iPad Mini might be worth it. Otherwise, why waste so much money?
The tablet that costs 5 times more is faster and has a better screen. So? They don't have the same specifications, features or price. What is the point of this comparison? There is no new insight or revelation to be gained from this video.
Yeahhhhh. Admittedly I couldn’t help but feel like this was an obvious comparison but I guess for people who don’t know the difference doing last minute shopping this can serve a purpose.
@@cwchan1625 I am not an expert on phones. I just wonder what would be the point in comparing a Bentley to Toyota yaris? The Bentley that is far more expensive Will expextedly be faster and more comfortable. So the point of the comparison is what?
Bruh the video comparison is for the experience and trade off you'd get from buying either of the two. IPad will obviously be more powerful but is it worth it? For example, you'd buy a tablet for your 65 year old granny, would it be worth it to buy an iPad or the A9 would suffice? The video answered it exactly. That's the point of comparison, stop your nonsense
I just realized something. Nobody compared expensive table to cheap ipad, i only seen expensive ipad vs cheap ipad. And they are like 5 or 6-7 time the table price? (Would love this kind of reviews)
please need a review of tablets with good enough performance (not s6 lite trash) to draw and take notes. to understand what the minimum price is for comfortable work. again s6 lite is a waste of money.
The cheaper tablets are very noticeable in screen quality. The speakers on the iPad mini are built very well. The speed is unmatched and yes you can game on the mini. All my google junk is on the a9 plus I still reach for it when I need the android side. Both are great but but the high end specs are on the mini. I’ve stepped away from the iPhones and use the mini6 as my daily driver.
I bought the A9 8gb ram, 128 gb memory version and let me tell you, is enough. And I only payed around 200$. I think less. Is afordable, is fast enough, it has a more pleasent ratio. I'm a samsung fan long bf apple was popular. And, for obvious reasons. I will stay with samsung bcs is better in the long run. My first tab ( A 10.1 2019) is 6 yrs old now and it runs very smooth.
wouldve went with samsung budget if they got better specs with 4g or 5g support on their 8.4 tablets. but i think the best option now is the alldocubeiplay60mini pro. definitely not for heavy gaming but does 95% of what i need to do. it might not get android 15 but i guess android devs slowed down with their apps requirements
Yeah Im actually in this kind of dilemma whether to buy the iPad Mini or just the cheaper Samsung A9... Cz I'll only use the tablet for TH-cam, web browsing and doing some work on a Word document 😅 Like for battery life, there is no advantage with the iPad Mini anyway and for multitasking features, the Samsung tab actually wins cz it allows split screen and multiple floating windows 😕 I'm only attracted to the iPad Mini because of the cool keyboard cases that makes it look like a mini laptop, lol. But is that really worth spending 3-4x more?? Plus the keyboard cases would add more to the cost and they aint cheap. If anyone can share their opinion on this.
I had a Redmi Pad SE 8.7", 4G, 6+126GB, support microSD. This pad had a low class SOC. It is not for gaming. It is for web browsing and watch TH-cam video. The price is $1199 Hong Kong Dollars. Buy one iPad Mini 7 (HK$4999), 5G, 128GB Ram, you can buy 4 Redmi Pad SE 8.7". Inside the menu, you can set 2, 4, 6GB of storage to ram. Thus the pad will become 6+6 GB ram. This will allow the pad running more smoothly.
I own both but I find myself using the A9 more. That because I also have a Samsung phone. The A9 is my Cary with me for a bigger view of phone things. If the A9 gets lost or breaks,no big lost. I wish someone would review the 8 gb model. I find the 4gb model close enough to the IPad Mini. for most tablet thing. When I travel and don’t want to bring a laptop, the mini is my go to.That because of the power and video out.

Love my tab a9 only problem is my case affects touch sensitivity so my stylus doesn't work as well
I just used to Apple size. Hate how tall the screeen on android
I have a Tab A9 and I am completely satisfied. I use it to read, watch movies, and browse the web. It is affordable and easy to handle.

Galaxy Tab A9 doesn't appear to be available as an U.S.A. version.
I bought it a few months ago. Looks exactly like the a7 lite. I also have the plus as well.
yeah it's weird samsung doesn't have this in the united states
Can this tab be used as a second monitor?
Yes, you can. If you are in the Apple ecosystem, you can easily drag anything on the iPad Mini's screen.

next step up from s6 lite is s9 fe, that's probably your best option before going to the s9, s10 series

Can someone please tell me why samsung discontinued their tab s8 series
Because the s10 series is out now the s8 is 2 tablet models ago
Then why is tab s7 and s6 still availible?samsung makes no sense
they don't have s7 or s6 on their website in the united states, only s10 series, s9, s9 fe, a9+

not sure if i want to pay the extra $$ for those lol

Me watching this on my iPad 2018😂
Well, there's clearly no competitor for the iPad Mini in the Android world in terms of power.
Can u review redmagic nova?
I got tab A9 for 70$. It worth the money.
Can I ask where did you get the deal?
@pont533 I've got the used one for 70$ anyway the new one is around 150$ in my country Cambodia
