You looking at me looking at you is my favourite guitar solo of all time. Its so cool hearing where it originally came from The solo hits different in a different key
I busted out laughing when you said that . Hilarious , the solo is mediocre at best . Randy sucked at improvising and worked out all his solo's beforehand .
Crazy. This should have been smash a hit. It could almost get mistaken for Slade. They should have put it on a later album. It might be my favourite Quiet Riot song.
This was in the late 70s not 1994. But nonetheless this is one of my favorite Randy guitar solos ever. But no lie this is also one of my favorite songs ever as well.
IF you seen a guitarist with a Fender on stage with the Ozzman in 1982....that is actually Bernie Torme who took over Randy's spot on the tour after Randy's death. The double RR was actually taken from the Royles Royce because Randy thought it looked cool i do beileve..so that it why he started using the double RR stuff....then they were put on his Jacksons in a differnt fasion/text than the Royces'.
I havent heard anything on the b.c rich trademark. and with ozzy he never used a strat, but with quiet riot he used a fender strat for recording. I never saw him use it on stage though.
Oh and recording....Yes he had one not sure which song he might have used it in...but there is a picture of him in the studio with QR with a Strat....I actually think there is 2 diff pics of it
Ok Thank's next question : The double R.R's on Randy's headstock(trustrod),,,Wasn't that a B.C-Rich Trademark ?? And did he ever play a Strat with RIOT/OZZY, on stage ??
@Livewire8195 Randy got so pissed, half his fingernail got lodged somewhere during the scuffle and ripped off. Kelly still has it mounted in his bass. Reportedly, Randy was getting offers for solo gigs or wanted to study and Kevin was supportive.
Rudy Sarzo was never in Quiet Riot. He did play bass with Ozzy Osbourne for Diary of a Madman with Randy on guitar. But yes, Randy did play bass, for this this track.
you're confusing me, Kelly Garni stayed to record the bass on this album then left, then Rudy Sarzo was hired to go out on the road, about a year later Randy left for Blizzard.
Kevin was so bald. Remember the shit talking he used to do in Hit Parader and Circus and Creem magazine about every other band? I'm not dissing the dude, just saying it was funny.
That clean chorus playing during the verses is timeless. RIP Randy. Thank you!

That's ozzy not quite riot, on ozzy and Randy's picture disc, I wound up with 3 of them somehow 🤷♂️
The solo was roughly the same for “You looking at me, looking at you” by Ozzy
Part of the rhythm session (chorus) is from Steal Away (in the night)
This is one of the best guitar solos ever!
agree

solo is unreal , dope pure dope.
This solo is so awesome!
IF Randy had lived, I think he would have gone back to QR once his 3 album contract was up with ozzy.
Randy Guitar and Bass!!!!😍😍😍😍😍
Such a cool song, Im glad I got to see Kevin live with QR before he passed.
I was born too late to see Randy :( R.I.P
Quiet Riot was my first concert ever. This was in 1994 Around there. I got everyone's autographs.

I shed tears at randys passion. Ive played since 4th grade and he just does it for me
A piece of God in him

I see that Gibson Guitar's ,,has released a Vintage white custom Lespaul . It's that ( yellowish white ) like RANDY had .
@Livewire8195 and kelly broke randys famous thumbnail n he had it for so long with him..now its in the headstock of his custom made bass guitar....
@Kendrick1010 yes it does.. i totally agree.

sorry 4 my bad english im from other land pal xD
its not so much of a copy. dont get me wrong both songs are great, rhoads just added his style to it
@Kendrick1010 Thank God he re-used the solo for a better Ozzy song
Kevin was so bald. Remember the shit talking he used to do in Hit Parader and Circus and Creem magazine about every other band? I'm not dissing the dude, just saying it was funny.
Yes, he was an asshole, great singer, but an asshole, it does not surprise me died alone and was found later dead
The music sounds good the singing and lyrics are bad.
