why did you guys switch to this air line assembly ? ...i bought one of these , because of how much luck i have had with tippmann products thru the years, and i have never had such a leaky valve in my life .... ya have to crank that in sooo hard to get it to seal ...
I bought an alpha black elite last week, and when I put co2 in it, it stated leaking from the connection to the gas line (bottom) I tried tightening it and it didn't fix it, and I took it apart after watching this video and I still can't find what's wrong. can someone help?
Just found a tiny dent in my valve body, i did exactly what this guy said new owners do. I keep having a tiny leak... Where can i get a new valve body?
my tippman was leaking air after taking it appart. i got it hand tight but it still leaked a bit. so i tightened it with a wrench, just a little bit. now i dont hear any air leaking. so i consider it fixed. i tried putting soap on it too. no bubbles. but i took a risk didnt I? of breaking the valve?
I tried out your leak-fix method, but I still hear a leak. Pressure also is escaping when I pull the trigger and the leak gets worse. I'm not too sure whats going on here, plz help?

If the gun is under its 2 year warranty, then return shipping and the parts/labor will be free. If not, you pay for shipping, and parts we replace. Our labor is always free. It usually only takes a day (two at the most) to complete, then however long it takes to ship back.
After shooting my 98c ultra basic a few times, it was almost as if the gun went fully auto for a couple seconds (i do not have an e grip or anything.) So i unscrewed my co2 tank and then screwed it back on. The weird fully auto thing stopped but the gas was leaking out the barrel. What's going on and how can i fix this?
Hello Tippmansports, I've got an issue concerning my 98 ACT Platinum when I attached the HP Bottle I can hear the valve close (sometimes it bounces back and forth a few times) is this easily fixed ? Kind regards,
I tried this and it still doesn't stop the leaking, it did stop most of it, but you can hear some air still escaping. Maybe i am doing something wrong?
Hi I have a 98 coustom and I have a problem with it. When I attach my co2 i dont hear any leaks but when I tilt the gun down the paintballs in the hopper come right out the barrel, im going to a game in 2 weeks and I need it to be fixed. Whats the problem with it ?

Your a badass I just bought a new tippmann 98 and it was leaking. This fixed it. Idk what was wrong with it but it works now

Hey you need to disassemble the valve body, I'm a tech and I can't figure out these new locks that keep the cup seal in place
Why did u change the older screw in gas line? The new "self sealing" style sucks.

So this doesn't explain what to do if air is leaking through the barrel....
Leak through the barrel is the valve. Most likely O-ring

One question what size wrench were u using to tighten the hose down?
