I'm definitely buying it, but not pre-ordering. PvP focus is still kind of bothers me. I heard you gain experience while racing for a clan. And if you want to change clans your level gets reset. You know what is funny? Cars are level locked. Now it could mean nothing. But if there are cars that are also clan specific I'm going to explode! 😂
Level and reputation is not the same thing, we already know that we have a level and that reputation is not linked to this and the cars being locked is only for progression purposes so you don't start the game with a Ford GT because you pre-ordered it. But yes your reputation is reset if you leave a clan and join back and that makes sense
Especially with FH6 coming soon and Test drive inlimited solar crown will not be everyones cup of tea 🤷🏼. I'm hyped for solar crown since the first ever reveal was 4 years ago!!! Development on this game has got to be on point and optimization is key. There needs to be an offline mode where you can race AI. That would be so sick through the city streets and the hills and forests of hong kong island 🔥🔥. All i got to say is LETTTSSSS GOOOOOOO 💯
@@Blockedinsight i just googled it. There is customisation, but it's reputation locked so it's gonna be quite annoying to upgrade the car unless you get rep really easily(source the test drive unlimited website on the solar crown organisation)
I hate to say it, but if it is primarily PvP-focused this will be a pass for me. I never do PvP in Forza or Motorfest and I would not enjoy the game if PvP is really all that it offers, but I do like the idea of additional competition in the Genre.
Just look at those creeps playing Unbound recording everything and waiting for ANYONE to make a mistake to make a public "gotcha" moment... I don't want this in TDUSC
@@Blockedinsight They do have AI in the game. I do know that when they did a playtest, the servers exploded and everyone was playing solo and racing AI. Not sure if it'll be an option but it's possible.
@@Blockedinsight They've already confirmed that races will be an online lobby with AI autofill all the way back in mid-2023 before the Playtests began. In a Gamescom article by THEGAMER, it was said that depending on the amount of players in your freeroam lobby, you might not even have a real player opponent due to the size size and density of the map.
You are funny. None of the competitors need to be scared. With all the missing features, the always online, the probably much smaller car list, the game won't be able to hold players for long. Horizon players in particular are expecting tonnes of cars thrown at them. Firstly there will be a lot less cars in the game, and 2ndly there will be a real slow old school progression. Both things the average Horizon player doesn't want.

Need some more info to be released re Crossplay, is it fully integrated as in FH5? Don't like the bit about PvP focus and level reset if you change Clans, why buy the Gold Ed which includes cars from both Clans if your level gets reset? More info on progression required. I know we still have 3 months to wait for this and info will filter out, but i'm holding out on pre order until a few more details are released. Graphics look awesome though in the latest gameplay shown

It’s a possibility for sure but Motorfest hasn’t been handled well at all though, TDUSC doesn’t have to do that much more to be better unfortunately… I have high hopes for it because a new racing game sounds great at this point
But FH5 SHOULD be scared especially with that degoratory rally DLC that has a location that looks like something cut from Mexico map and don't get me started on them adding a new intro just to find out it's only about the track creating items

No hon kong never been in a video game from what i know of and definitely going to be bigger with a 1.1 scale of the actual hon kong island as we discussed in depth on PlayStation it’s well needed the competition as it might wake the people at ivory tower up 100% agree on the rewards sucking

@@Blockedinsight fingers crossed it does because the game dropped off hard am hopeful for it to improve just with what they did in the crew 2 update wise and all the devs working on motorfest now think crew 2 held them back having both run side by side
@@Chris2007_x Yeah I’m thinking that as well, I was also looking at it like Motorfest probably shouldn’t come out when it did… Maybe waiting another year would of been better, The Crew 2 was thriving so they probably could of kept it alive longer then built upon Motorfest
Honestly I think it started with the overall concept playlists don’t really work cause if we knew prior it was gonna be that way we know it be boring quickly they was to focused copying the forza horizon festival route instead of sticking to what was great wouldn’t mind this island it’s nothing the size the test drive one it’s a huge fundamental issue from the get go crew 2 didn’t help but am giving them benefit of the doubt for now as they had both going now they have to deliver!

There’s a video that was made on the new TDU game during a TH-camr testing event and the game looked awful, really hoping it looks as good as motorfest or even forza
Ohhh yeah that awhile back I believe Blackpanthaa was in that and I could then it probably needed finishing touches, the amount of detail it will have if it’s even close to Forza or Motorfest that will be really impressive

I really hope the game is good. If they give us plenty of content, motorfest will be dead. Unless ubisoft/ IVT get there finger out and address many of the issues. I guess time will tell.
After 13 years, we finally get a new TDU game! And a new Test Drive game after 12 years, the last one was Ferrari Racing Legends. I have hope as some of the devs from KT Racing were formerly from Eden Games, the studio behind the first two TDU games.
I’m not going to pre-order but I will get the game, the options aren’t worth the extra pay, TDU is an amazing racing game that added the element of the racing life that most other racing games don’t have, the crew 2 tried but ditched it in TCM, and the latest F1 game has it but with limited mobility and it’s more so a simulation racing game, to me those games tend to be not as fun, but adding the elements of having your own home and displaying your cars plus being able to decorate your interior set’s TDU ahead of the pack, TCM not having a home to display your cars is the reason why I didn’t buy the game, the F1 game is cool but it’s not for me, still want to play just for that Ft, TDU is the best racing game, outside of TDU2 handling, hopefully TDUSC fixed that.

I played in the colsed beta, driving is really very nice - car, speed feel and handling is very good, even than in FH5.
I know we can’t talk about the Playtest and all but I have to agree!! I really enjoyed it, the final game will probably be 10x better too

The map is a scale recreation of Hong Kong Island so from this we know the size (I think)
