You're amazing. I grew up in the Appalachians when the fave game in school was Smear the Queer. I came out in my 20's and ever since I've been observing everything about being gay and for 40 years there's been so much division in the community about those who don't like fems, trannys or trans etc. You sing country, you look country, but in the way you walk and talk and wend your way through your videos, you're comfortable with everyone. I guess there are more ways to makin' a livin' than catering to the Nashville crowd. If you do at least one Bluegrass song/music video I won't want anything else for Christmas. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for being you.
Love this song! Unfortunately my best friend is in jail for being in a drag show. It's sad but it's how this world is but I sure love to hear songs like this to prove some people are still supportive of my fellow LGBTQA+ community folks and family
It is awful to hear these extremely targeted laws are actually being practiced, and I will send all the positive energy I can spare in your friend's direction in hopes they are released as soon as possible. You let them know this community is behind them 1,000 percent and we will not give up without a fight. These nasty politicians don't know what's coming for them, but karma finds us whether we're aware of it or not and they will absolutely get theirs one way or another 💪🏼
