REASONS WHY MOST HARDWORKING PEOPLE ARE POOR
Being hardworking does not always guarantee that you will be successful. You have also to work smart otherwise all the energy you put in something will be in vain and not yield the results that you desire.
Here's why;
1. Hardworking people depend more on their bones.
This means that they use all the strength they have to achieve their goals day in day out rather than use their mental strength which is way much better compared to body strength. For instance, a farmer uses the strength he has to tend to his farm from ploughing, planting, weeding and harvesting and in case he falls sick in between the activities have to stop till he recovers but for an entrepreneur or a network marketer, he has a team which he teaches skills and techniques of operation and when he's not around the team implements the skills and the business continues normally. Therefore, always strive to use your mental strength rather than your physical strength.
2. Hardworking people sell a very limited resource.
These people sell time while smart people or successful people sell value.
3. Hard work prevents you from thinking.
Hardworking people are always working and they've got no free time for themselves meaning that personal development is never in their schedule. Constant reading of books in your field helps you to grow and improve your skills thus improving your income but when you don't have time to read any book you're prone to keep doing the same things expecting different results and that can never be the case. Thus, you need to read at least a book in your field for personal development and to learn new ways of doing things.
4. Hard work stops you from getting financial education.
As earlier said you need to read books for personal development. Financial education is never taught in school and to get it you need to learn from successful Entrepreneurs, reads books about money, articles and journals, but when you don't spare time to read you'll never get the knowledge about money and how to use it. Some books that I can recommend about money are Cash Flow and Rich Dad & Poor Dad both by Robert Kiyosaki. You are as rich as much as you know about money. Therefore, seek to gain more knowledge about money.
5. You can't build wealth with two hands.
Someone said that: " I would rather earn from 1% effort of a hundred people rather than 100% from my own effort." This means that you should always work as a team to be successful since effort from different people is combined than work all alone to achieve your goals. Working as a team helps in saving time and delivering results within a short period of time compared to when you're working all by yourself. To work smart is when you teach other people what to do and leave them to learn and teach others how to do the same.
