Front wheelie is certainly possible, there are some single side tricks and riding backwards etc. In the late 19th century there were people who specialised in doing performances on penny farthings in circus or fairgrounds. Here is a video of Harry Kramer from the 1950's doing front wheelie and other tricks: www.pinkbike.com/video/347812/
Excelente explicación 👍.práctica y fácil de aprender..... y ahora me doy cuenta de que se les llama "centavo" .soy de Argentina y recién estoy conociendo el mundo de estos vehículos!! Saludos
It depends on what kind of distance you are moving them. For small distances they will fit in to most small vans although many riders use tow hitch mounts and extend them to put them on. For flying... we have a video: th-cam.com/video/NZq2LZvcffA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZrBDzuwiAYHxPFmc
Hi, yes we can ship almost anywhere in the world. The website will give you the shipping quote when the products are in stock. www.unicycle.co.uk/penny-farthing.html
Yes, we have waited almost 4 years for the rims! That they are arriving in October seams really soon... but it is not 2 weeks time. It was quite exciting to hear that the first batch of rims are at the wheel builders this week in production.
The algorithm has brought me here. Im not disappointed. Great vid
I'm curious, would you try one?😅😊
I've often wondered how someone mounted one of those. That gentleman looks like he's done it many times. What gets me is, he enjoys it
Thanks for this Roger... I need to practice my low speed manoeuvres! OK at getting on, getting off!
Hope they will still be in stock in April this year, we’re planning on purchasing one here in the US!
Yes! Been looking forward to the penny farthings coming back in stock.
Very good Tutorial ! Straight to the point.
Another excellent video!
How about stunts on a Penny Farthing, what's possible?
Mays be a forward wheelie? You can’t do a normal wheelie because of the weight distribution, but you definitely can do a forward one.

The old fashioned Penny Farthings only had one foot peg to get on and off, so your bike is super safe!

Well done! How would you do a wheelie? 😸
Great skill
Like your video well demonstrated ,
definitely interesting
I would like one, but how do you transport it?

Did you guys send this to other countries? I live in Japan

@@unicycledotcomuk ok thx for the answer
oh wow i really want to try one of these. i bet it feel like you're up on a horse at that height
They are certainly fun and you are right they give you a horse riders perspective. :-)
What if you wanted a giraffe rider's perspective?
Is it possible to bunny hop a penny farthing?
Not really, they are too heavy for that and you don't have enough leverage to do achieve the jump.

Who has or has anyone ever done a long bike tour on one?
Joff Summerfield is a good starting point. He has ridden around the world. He has his own TH-cam channel. www.youtube.com/@Biketouring
Manda uma dessa de brinde para min aqui no Brasil que eu faço a propaganda para você.
Hmmm...🤔🤔🤔
I can't quite tell if that's a uni or a bike???
Lol. Just kidding 😮🤣
This is great and all but like.... 2600$?
That is the price from unicycle.com USA, these are not a standard bike. Here is the link: www.unicycle.com/udc-52-mk5-penny-farthing-black-black/
LOL required skill of one foot ride before able to do tight turn
Riding with one foot on a penny farthing is not hard, certainly not as hard as riding one footed on a unicycle.
People love them too much. My guess is that they will be back out of stock in 2 weeks.
