What always gets me is how little Wen Kexing cares about his own life as long as he can keep Zhou Zishu's life and heart safe. Just rewatching (yet again... I am such a lost cause) the show and those scenes still hit me every time. His desperation is often heartbreaking.
Especially compared to the weird cousin-Prince who also liked ZZS but instead tried to take everyone from him so he had to rely on him & tried to force myself to become his #1 since he was obsessed with him. 🤢 😡🤬 As Ah Xu said, he isn't worthy if being his soulmate. Only WKX is. ❤ ❤
I like how they made WKX more human like, with weaknesses although I like his allmightiness in the novel as well, Kind of really makes the two stories unrelated lmao

Zhou already proved that, basically killing himself after thinking Kexing was gone. There is a theory that Baiyi pranked them because this manual only works if both sides love each other. That's why it didn't work for him and Xuan's mother. She loved her late husband and died during the cultivation. And to be fair: the way Baiyi is in the series it's pretty much his style not telling Kexing both of them will survive to see if he still would do it. Obviously, in the novel it's a whole other story and both are alive, happy and driving their disciple to madness with their fights about who will be the top...

I would write down the time of my favorite moment from your edit but i would just write down every second of it 😭 so instead i'm writing down my 3 favorite. 0:23 😭 that was genius to use the audio when Wen Ke Xing said he cnt save the one he loves and use the clip od him taking a both and A Xu leaving, 1:32 that whole moment with the song saying what happens now 😭 can you hear me soobing? 1:53 when the song get quieter and more gentle and you jsut see A Xu coming out of the light with tears in his eyes and than you got Wen Ke Xing speaking about how there's light 😭❤ i feel that moment so deeply and of course right after that when the beat drop and A Xu open his eyes *bonus one because i have no self control **1:43** when A Xu come foward to Wen Ke Xing and his step is synch with the music ❤❤❤* maaaaaan just good job!

He didn't think ZZS died! Wkx was so fixated on helping Han Ying to the point of hurting himself that the only way ZZS can break through to him and get wkx to listen is to tell him "it's me Ah Xu".
