I think I definitely would have had a chat with the owner or corporate, because I’m sure they don’t take kindly to their employees stealing! My husband is retired PD. He said to film yourselves going into the locker for the first time and make sure that the locker looks exactly as it did in the pictures. If not, you need to immediately close it up and call the police, while filming everything and DO NOT turn the camera off until after they arrive. That way when PD arrives, you can show them the video and pictures of what the locker should look like. You should also get corporate or the owners number and make a call to them as well, to notify them of what you found.
We didn’t realize until after 20 minutes, we stopped recording went to confront them and they threatened to call the police on us ..also no cameras was on that unit we was told which was weird

Is exactly why I request that auction tag be removed in front of me auction pics in hand with facility present. That way if something is missing from photos u have the right to confront them on the spot..did u leave a review for them . I would of told exactly what happened for all to read

We went to confront them and it turned into them calling the police on us
I'm an officer from New York City, now you said you got a photo of the locker before you went into it right? well, what you should've done is check the photo before you start into the locker, now they could say you have the stuff and there's nothing you can do about it. the only;y question is, where is the pocketbooks?
I watch a lot of these unit vids from all across America and it is becoming a regular thing that items that were in the photo at auction are missing. You should always confront the owner of the facility and ask them to explain where those items are? I don't believe you, the buyer has much protection when it comes to the law so you should owt the facility. Overall there was plenty of profit to be had so at least you did not suffer too much. Yes we confronted the facility but unfortunately they told us that nobody tampered with the unit and nothing they can do about it
They stage the units for the pre-sale pictures, in order to increase bids and bid amounts and then go back are remove the items.

Funny thing is they tried to call the police on us because we reported it to them that the items was missing I guess they thought we wasn’t going to notice, but Trece and one of the employees got in a heated shouting match she regret not recording it

Contact corporate. The only people that could of done it would be an employee(s) or person in charge of auctions. There shady for that. Trust me, you all not the first they’ve done it to. Dot your eyes cross your t’s.
