Awesome. Watch out for the big boulders underwater. Most of the lake is really deep, but when it gets shallow, you will easily see the big rocks in the clear water. There are some monsters in there if you can find them.
I grew up fishing Burntside. Hard to beat fishing on such a beautiful lake, even if the fish aren't cooperating that day. Come back at night to target the walleye in 5-20 ft of water (if you don't mind banging into a few boulders lol)
It was a big pike, 38 inches on a soturi jerk bait. We've caught Lakers in the spring time shallow in that exact spot. That was actually my Dad and I in that shot.
Not sure what kind of duck it was but it’ll be a dead duck if it doesn’t pay attention with all those monster pike 😂 Not sure why Reggie can’t be happy on the water…he’s gotta go checking out the land 😜 Couple close calls but couldn’t shake the skunk… 🦨
I think you are correct Sir. I looked it up and it looks just like it. I believe you had some of those "fish chomping sky weasels" in your video as well. I wish I could have shown you the size of the fish we seen on this lake. Thanks again for following along on our adventures.
Thanks for the tips. Heading to Burntside in June.

That was me and my Dad! Thats our favorite spot on the lake.

No way! Nice catch. You beat my PB. I'm still stuck at 37 inches. We couldn't get them to bite. They swam by a few times but had no interest in us.
Hey Kyle, Missed you last spring! Unc Ken.
Looks like a hooded merganser. Awesome video looks beautiful up there.
A Merganser seems to be the consensus. I appreciate you following along with us.
Grat fishing trip guys i need to get out on the river top job
If only we could have boated some of those big ones, that would have been awesome. Thanks again!
is over night parking allowed?
I can't say for sure, but I didn't see any signs that said not to.

Haha, yes, those boulders scare me a little. Thanks for the info.

Hello
Thanks for sharing 💞 Good
That is a huge temperature shift! Whatever that other boat caught was impressive. Lake trout or Muskie?
When I zoomed in it looked like a giant pike. Apparently they had better luck then we did. Thanks for watching.

As far as I know Burntside doesn't have any muskie. It's a good lake for walleye, northern, lake trout, and smallie fishing though.
another great review of Lakes man , great footage and edits and the drone vids are awesome ... some big old pike it looked like
That means a lot coming from another creator. I appreciate the comment

Your comments always give me a good laugh. So far the duck has been called a Merganser, sky weasel, and now a dead duck.
I love that lake😍
Its a beautiful lake. Now if I could only catch the fish in it.
Merganser, a fish eater.
Thanks for the info!
Female Common Merganser aka Carrot Top.
See, I knew there would be lots of Duck people watching on here. I'm always learning something new.
We call them "lawn darts" when duck hunting.
Man ...... I wish you would have got that smallmouth in😞 looks like a big fish lake. did Reggie find that squatch?...... Lol 😂
I should start giving Reggie a camera in case he ever does run into that Squatch. Thanks for watching.
Always a fun channel. Love living in Wisconsin. Walleye sandwich a week ahead of Minnesota
Pretty sure that was a merganser, aka fish chomping sky weasel (FCSW). Fun video as always, Rande, wish you guys caught some fish- next time!

Wow, you really know your birds! I will take your word for it John, because I've seen your videos about birds.
