This is a major upgrade. Kudos to Holley for not coming out with a bug fix only update like a lot of products and trying to stay ahead of the competition by adding real features.
Just add that (for anyone that didn't notice at 15:34 ) when you toggle Compare on/off in Data, even though it removes the traces off of the graph, all data numbers (from both runs) stays up on the left 👍

I have experienced the white screen while hooked to a tablet, but never with my laptop. Super happy about changing the fans to only run when engine is on too!
Much needed updates. I find it ironic that I made a custom parameter for my T56 and electric fan to not run with the engine off last year and Holley makes a dropdown for both.
Great info !! One thing is like to see if a way to go into a dyno mode for holding gears and locking converters. Obviously you can go and trick the Ecu to not downshift and for lockup to stay on like I do but would be a nice touch to save time.
@@brandonpylant5764 there is no map option in the drop down. You can split the map signal and tell the ecu it’s in the dome and it works decent but not perfect
Interested in that TKX harness and parameters. I made my own for the vss and had to do some funny numbers so it would output the correct mph. Never did get it to work :/

Nice, can we simply drag to scale making the VE tables bigger? for people like me that are blind on a smaller laptop screen. On a desktop 22-24" it is out of proportion not scale able or haven't figured out how to do it yet. My thoughts are Megasquirt based were you have complete control, I like how the datalogging update is similar to MLV. Great vid.

maybe a dumb question i’m building a 83c10 getting a nitrous ls and a 4l80e not a lot of dig racing around me more roll racing is there a way u could set the trans up off a button maybe to hold say 2nd gear longer so u can be higher in the rpm range off the initial hit vs having to wait for the ecu to down shift the transmission? thanks.
Awesome video, so now I have the option to have the air shifter have different shift points between 1-2 and 2-3 shifts on the th400. But do I have to hookup an input to tell the ecm what gear its in? Or does it just do it accordingly related to transbrake input release?
Hey Joe what firmware on the 7’ digital dash should be used on ecu firmware v3. Tried updating my dash and it’s now not giving me the tabs ( config, utilities, dash….etc)
With the new software improvement, can I finally flash new firmware without having to unplug the entire canbus chain? I’ve had tons of problems in the past with even splitters from Holley causing bricked ecus during the update process. On some of the custom cars I work on, unplugging everything chained together on the canbus side can be a huge pain.
Do i need to click download from ecu - click on save GCF and rename and save. On handheld If going from v2 to v3 or isn't that tune already saved? And can just Remove SD and put in computer and go from there as i did going from v1 to v2
I'm doing a ls swap in my old truck. Getting a built N/A 6.0 ls. A gen 4 GM harness and computer comes with it but we need a dash and fuel gauges as well. Wanted to know what your opinion would be to just run the gm and get a obdII dash or get a holley and run one of their dashes? Hear mixed reviews on holley... any info would be great!

We are 100 videos in and have not been on the dyno yet. You can apply any of it to anything using Holley efi in any situation So, no dyno needed haha It surely helps though. Especially for timing.
The 6l80/90 is definitely a surprise, its nice to know that they been listening to their customers

The Dashboard feature is great news! Being able to see all the timing and fuel modifiers live will be invaluable.

Load is in kpa or psi by rpm (your choice), what was your question there?
omg, finally my line colors stay the same.. used to have to populate the logs certain way to get the colors i wanted..

It’s right there. Open loop - duty cycle. I been using it on my dads car & works great! No dome sensor needed. Straight off map sensor.

I did the same thing for my t56 magnum xl. Used the auto trans with all the math to get mph, but it works great and it’s accurate.

Biggest thing I'm liking is the fan. It's annoying having the key on and the fan is running wasting power.
There is a really easy fix for this, a guy on here has a video on how to do it. Search for Holley fan control

Long winded answer there but adding a flex fuel sensor and having one tune is much easier.
Do you still need the term x max to use the trans functions or is in both the x and x max
It’s going to be the max. You’ll need a way for the trans to talk to the ecu and the non max does not have that plug.
