Good catch! It seems that way although I'm not 100% sure. They started repairs and cut down all the trees, removed the signs, and took out part of the walkway railing. I believe the repairs have been delayed however there has been a continues flow of pedestrians and anglers with no sign of enforcement. I'm glad your still watching after a year, tight lines!
Some great catches out there. Never caught a smallie on top water but I do like those choppo 90s. I think your one you recovered from the tree is the one I use. I am yet to get a top water this year but had some interest on some frogs. 👍
Nice work with the choppo's. Cool that you caught two different bass in the same area. I thought that first chunk was a 2lber. Thumbs up man!
Yea the largemouth I didn't weigh probably was 2lbs. Tight lines bud!
Topwater action is awesomeness 🔥
Love it when they blow up right in front of you!
I watched your video last year where the DNR went after someone for going on the burm, are they allowing fishing from that side again?

Oh man smallies on topwater is the best, they hit it so hard and startle me every time. Tight lines bud!
@@northerngrit9656 I bet. They are such an aggressive fish.
I've often wondered if the choppo is just as good as the whopper plopper. Nice first bass on it. Always good when you get large and small mouth.
I haven't used ploppers enough to know if there better but I do know choppos work good! Thanks for watching, tight lines!
I was up there yesterday and got skunked. Was using a whopper plopper 90 on one rod and had a senko tied on the other. Owell hopefully next time!
Yea it was miserable hot yesterday and the bite was tough. I managed to get a small one down river from the dam. Thanks for watching, tight lines!
