When alien invaders kidnap Earth's superheroes, their kids are whisked away to a government safe house. Makes sense Max being Ojo's father, because he was worried about earth, since the reason why the aliens went there is weird, but it wouldn't be if Max was worried about his friends. It also explains how Ojo is the leader, since Max is really powerfull and it wouldn't be weird the him as child would be the leader and his daughter the next, and why that planet is run by children
I want them to bring back Taylor Lautner to reprise his role as Sharkboy, so we can get the snarky attitude back and so he can have lines in the next movie.
Well if shark biy gets a bigger role in the movie maybe. I dojt think they wanna waste that talent on such minor silent role.

My theory is that this is another one of Max's dreams, we know from the original movie that Sharkboy and Lavagirl are from Planet Drool, which max made in his dreams. Maybe if they do another movie we'll see how they let it play out
These fan theories make this underwhelming sequel better - I wanted more ties to the first movie.

I'm in favour of him turning up in a teaching role, sort of similar to how Tobor was for him was in the original movie. Or, since the same guy played Mr Electricidad, Mr Electric and Tobor, have Max take on the role of both the main villain and a mentor to the new heroes (his powers causing him to split in to a good half and evil half or something).

My theory is that wild card is related to the girl in shark boy and lava girl who has the ice powers.
I think this because he says that his personal favorite power that he has is the freeze ray.
So i think that Wild Cards mother is the girl that max liked with ice powers.
My Theory: (I have plenty but this is one that is different from others I thought of)
After the 1st Movie Max made a story called "We Can Be Heros" The Main Character is Missy (Max, Marisa, Linus) all made up these characters justice how they thought of the heros they made. Anyways- They made the story of how Heros such as Sharkboy and Lava girl had a daughter ( Guppy ) and how she could move water instead of lava. They Created the story to teach others that just because they don't have a cape doesn't mean there heros..... ( Its a weird theory that I'm not 100% on but I have plenty more that I could share if yall would like to hear
My Theory is that what we see seeing is either a comicbook universe or connected movie universe (like marvel or dc), but made by Max. That explains why Sharkboy and Lavagirl is here but not Max. It also explains why it seems like they kinda retconed Lavagirl not being an alien. Because Max changed her story for a new comic universe.
In the old film Max had lots of powers to dream about stuff and he had lots of powers to create stuff so that means in the new film The dad of the boy which has lots of powers explains it all so the dad of the kid that all of those powers must’ve been Max from the old film

well, my theory is that every hero was created by a child, just like sharkboy and lavagirl were created by max. they say in the movie “children are in charge” so they probably are in charge of creating the heroes!
and i also agree that miracle guy is max. like he says in sharkboy and lavagirl: “sometimes a dream is so powerful that becomes real” he wanted to be a hero so bad that he became one, that would explain why his name is “MIRACLE guy” miracles are impossible or unlikely things that happen when someone wishes and belives deeply

I have a theory because I just now watched this to see my childhood again.
The first and second movie may all just be his imagination, him trying to escape the stress of his parents divorces, him either depressed, in a coma somehow or just imaging his own life and fantasy, which would add onto the max miracle guy theory, as he dreams of himself as a superhero because his childhood hadn’t grown because of the trauma from his parents.

There's no way that Max would grow up to be as much of a tool as Miracle Guy and Max would definitely still be friends with Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Plus, if wheels was his son, he would have created a better way for him to get around; like a faster wheel chair or an exoskeleton that allows him to walk.

I have a theory. Max is Ojos father and Ms Grenada is Ojos mother they had relationship issues starting with Ms Grenada saying that he couldn't be responsible. So Max left Ogima, and put it in the hands of his daughter Ojo. Ojo made it so kids are in charge. Max became Miracle Guy and Ms Grenada told Ojo how irresponsible her dad is, so she planned the whole takeover. That would also make Ojo and Wheels half siblings. Sorry if it's kinda hard to follow😅
At 6:04 you can see missy Wearing a necklace in the Original movie the ice princess is wearing a Necklace so that means the ice princess is possibly missy Mother
