ahhh this is so helpful! i didn't realize the "put the flower at the table to measure how much stem to trim" was a Thing! but of course! I only just started subscribing and I'm gonna go to trader's this week get me a bouquet to design!! i always try to design my own from two or three singular flower bunches (alstromeria are my faves!) BUT it makes so much sense that it's better to practice with a pre-made that's got a great color, texture and heaviness variety!! so excited!!

The pink flower was Dianthus, better known as sweet William.
That pink one might be sweet william or Godecia or Farewell-to-spring flower
It's dianthus. It's part of the carnation family.
How to remove thorns from the roses? Without hurting my fingers? I need to go for flower arrangement interview. I have no clues at all.
There is a tool you can buy that dethorns all the roses for you. Or you can simply take your thumb and push the thorn to the side and that should snap the thorn off
Dianthus is the mystery flower.
