    They knew this one kitty could have torn them to pieces, but they all joined together to shade and cool him off, and save him. God Bless India. I have Indian friends, they will stop at nothing to help. Truly beautiful people.

    I have always thought Indian's are one of the most spiritual people, with so much kindness. Have never met one person who came from India who didn't smile always, who wasn't polite and always kind and helpful. This just proves my point! What a wonderful thing to do. They even tried to shade the Leopard whilst they worked out how to do it. Beautiful... thank you so much for posting, I really needed this boost to my spirits today x

    Karnataka is blessed with so much of natural beauty. One of the few places where leopards are still found in wild. I was fortunate to spend few years in Mysore. Leopard crossing the road at night when you are coming down the chamudi hills is a common occurrence there. Unfortunately diminishing forest cover forces these creatures to sometimes enter the township.

    • @rekkariley652
      @rekkariley652 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Zamolxes77 That was _not_ clean water. Water like that still has to be filtered before it's safe to drink, so it was probably still really gross and uncomfortable for the poor cat. :(

    • @Zamolxes77
      @Zamolxes77 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Rekka Riley Wow, you believe leopards drink from water filters in the fridge or something? That water is way cleaner than the one flowing in a river or in a jungle pond.

    • @rekkariley652
      @rekkariley652 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Zamolxes77 Not if it's been sitting for a while. Running water in a river is generally safer than water in a stagnant pond or holding tank. That's why even a lot of domestic cats would rather drink from a running faucet than their actual water bowl.

It's a putrid trade that is growing worldwide and even endangered species are included . Tell hunters you hate their sorry soulless arses every chance you get .
      Make trophy hunters ashamed of their sorry deeds .....

      yeah completely agree with you. its something that absolutely infuriates me when i think about it. the fact that we seem powerless to stop it makes it even worse. don't see things changing anytime soon. the problem runs so deep into culture, lifestyle, the economy, that it would take a gigantic amount of effort and money to change things, which i'm afraid governments just aren't willing to part with, or even make a serious priority. truly saddening what is happening to these creatures, that were here millions of years before our human plague arrived.

    One of the smartest rescue operations of such carnivorous.
    Rescuing a leopard is tougher than Indian lions. Though lion is bigger and powerful but this animal is so speedy, catchy, clever and smarter. As a wildlife film maker I have observed it number of times that it gets risky while rescuing leopards.

      all that should have been videoed. the vet visit and final release. this video would have been huge, they would have made money, all sorts of people would have been buying advertising space on this video, and the money could have gone to some indian wildlife refuge. they are trying to conserve forest area for the the bengal tigers which are going extinct and will not survive if some conservation efforts are not made. this video could have made revenue. as far as leopards attacking people it is extremely rare, and if you own livestock in inda, or anywhere where there are big cats, you'd better be sitting on them all the time, keeping them protected and the same goes for small children too. but mostly attack on humans are extremely rare. not like it can't happen, it can but usually the cat will go for more standard fare.

      This is not the discovery channel dear so they will show you the whole process. It is a random video taken by the locals. police was also present there. So leopard will be safe dont worry.
