Thanks for the video. My 2010 Clubman JCW has needed many repairs. Just DIY'd a new turbo and then the aux pump was leaking. Tried to tighten the hose clamps on the aux pump and the inlet tube broke off dousing me in coolant. Replaced the aux pump and guess what? Stupid crossover pipe is now leaking. WTF?!?
I bought a 2013 countryman October 2020 and it cost me more money then my 2003 Altima I had for 17 years. 6Mini dealer repair is definitely WAY too expensive. Got March 2021 Carshield but everything that’s been breaking is not covered. I have 2 car payments. One to the finance company and the other to the mechanic shop.
Nice video can coolant leak cost any electrical problems? Mine is leaking a little bit and I have some issues with electricity can that be because of that leak?
ok. thats the easy part. that pipe it goes into is the real nightmare and now that you touched the thermostat that pipe will be leaking shortly. you will have to take the intake manifold out. to get to it. some say you can do it without taking the manifold out. I say good luck. if it's not in there just right it leaks.
Thanks for this video, now I can fix my daughter's mini Cooper leak. It's going to be a process for sure .
Yes bmw never worry about difficulty in repair in their design

If I'm replacing the water pump, can the pipe be removed without removing the thermostat housing?

The OLD cars use to be easy replacing coolant hoses , the NEW cars you have to strip half the car apart to do this (PAIN IN THE ASS JOB) !!!!!
How much would you charge for that?
Clubman not wagon
