- This is a great scrap buster, minimalistic wallet pattern by Linds Handmade. It is a super quick sew which makes it a great craft fair item. I am sewing this up on my Janome HD9 and using Selric thread from Amazon. My vinyl and zipper is from More Me Know and my beautiful tag is from Heartwood and HIde. Very few tutorials do that and to me, it is important to actually SEE what the end result will look like before I view the video. I totally agree with you that edge coating makes the project look professional and finished.

I see a lot of tutorial do that show what they going working on like Jeannie’s designs and Jess Oklaroots do it show what they going be working on at the beginning I see other people do it too I just saying
I made a sample with cheap felt before I start cutting and screwing up the good stuff. I am going to do some changes on this project. I noticed that every video I saw including my test sample, has a problem I don't like, zipper teeth don't bend but the seams on the side of the zipper do lay flat, the effect is that the corners on the side of the zipper form a point upwards, so I decided to put the zipper on the front starting about half inch under the fold.under that put my tag. Another change I want to do is make it a bit longer so I can fit my cell phone in the slip pocket. I might make the strap wider too.
Can you please advise what you used for the card slots. In the video it sounds like Ollie Fun ????
@@aliceburley3881 Oly-Fun fabric. Here is a link from Amazon but I buy mine from Hobby Lobby when they have their fabric on sale. It's super expensive at that point.

@@aliceburley3881 no problem! I was just at Joann today and saw they had it on bolts for $2.00/yard! I've never been able to find it online with them so I'm not sure if it's a new thing they are carrying or it's just available at certain stores but thought I'd let you know since I just saw it today.
