    I am happy Will Power finally won a first race for this season, in spite of the fact that he needed to change the tires when the race started after the big pile up. I wish Indy car continues in Pocono next year. This track tests the drivers and it is a great oval [or a triangle] after Indianapolis. I also feel that the points should be more because it is a long race.

    I was quick to give Sato the Maldonado award but what I think really happened was RHR didn't know Sato was swooping around the outside so he started squeezing Rossi to the right so they can take a good line through the turn and that gave the illusion that Sato just went around and pretended half his car doesn't exist.
    I could be wrong.

    I know people has opinion about the series, but to say that they have to drop this oval or other ovals, means that in the reality, or are not truly fan of the series or they don't know about the history of the open wheels, not because this accident and the other accidents means they have to remove this particular venue. Was built for indycars, we already have just only 5 ovals and the only 500 mile race aside indianapolis, if they ditch Pocono, just only Indianapolis will be 500 mile race in the schedule and that is brutal, at least, in the history of open wheels, has two 500 mile race, this is like the first days of the split (IRL), they only have indianapolis and nothing more, at least in CART was different, but with this situation, instead of going forward, will be a backward for the series.

    Here’s my take on this, yes it’s Satos fault, yes it was a terrible decision, but it’s racing, no risk no reward and he took it too far on lap 1 he has an aggressive style and it got the best of him, nothing bad with racing aggressive as long as it’s clean, and he did not want to go 3 wide into turn 2 that would have been suicide but he didn’t want to back out and let the pack get by, it’s not pocono, it’s the drivers they just don’t respect the track enough, fix the catch fences and then it’s good

    Circuit very dangerous ... it is an accident very similar to 2018

      The accidents in 18 and 19 were both caused by driver error, its not the circuit, its drivers trying to win on lap 1

      Justin Wilson died because of a freak accident that could’ve happened at any speedway. Should IndyCar remove all ovals?

    • @QuacksThePoet
      @QuacksThePoet 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shilpi326 Still Pocono, and Sage went into the wall because of the track, which caused the nose cone to bounce off. That is what caused the freak accident. Still love this track tho.
