i’ve taken a few stamping classes, and i’ve learned to never press down when getting ink on the stamp. instead, lightly tap the stamp onto the ink pad. when stamping, avoid rocking back and forth, and try not to press too hard, especially if there’s ink in the corner of the wood :)

I really enjoyed watching this! I love writing to penpals too, but it made me happy to see that you are from Manila. Though I'm not Filipina my parents grew up there and I lived outside of Manila for 4 years as a kid! It was fun seeing a little bit of Tagalog in your letter (I hope it was Tagalog, I know there's a bunch of other dialects but I'm not going to try to spell them! 🤣) Anyway I really enjoyed this and it brought back some childhood memories, it would be really fun to have a pen pal from the Philippines.
