Yeah, they mentioned it. I think they're gonna be pretty different, with a few similarities obviously like if they release more skins they could be the same style or something of that matter, but they are apparently gonna have yet ANOTHER ingame store lol, hopefully it can include a cape? 🙏🙏

Capes should be tied to difficult in-game achievements.
they would be too easy, you would get everyone in a day with Horion
They should have one for doing EVERY achievement

The Scrolls and Cobalt capes were way harder to get, because hardly anyone played either of those (in general anyway, yes this is the hardest Bedrock cape)

yeah same. I think I linked my accounts together too late for them to give me a cape. Kinda bogus since I still linked the accounts before the cape was announced
contact mojang support I did after months after I didn't get it and they helped me like a week later

Yeah I got scammed too.. it showed up on bedrock edition for a bit then peaced out.

I definitely want that cape. I think they should also make one for everyone who gets every achievement in the game.
U don't know how it easy to do so. Just download a map from the internet and you finish in 10 minutes

The new event and cape look so cool! I'm so glad Mojang decided to release it the week I'm traveling to Greece and hopefully doing something else with my life than thinking about Minecraft 24/7. On a serious note, I'm so glad you'll be streaming what you do to get the cape, as I'm not sure 3 days is quite enough time for me to do all the challenges myseft.

honestly the migrator cape is still the second best cape and the best that was largely accessible
and it is second only to the original red creeper face cape from the first minecon

Nah, migrator's trash, all Minecons look better along with the 15th Anniversary, Twitch and TikTok. It doesn't have the cape swoosh at the top which is an issue on the Vanilla and Cherry capes as well along with the newest Mojang cape.
The Cobalt cape is the best one by far
Personally, the Cape isn't worth the effort. I'm happy with the ones that I have already.

I’m super glad they make quality of life changes for creators and whatnot, but, could they possibly focus on stuff the Majority ( idk real numbers I just assume the majority of Minecraft players just play the game and dont create) of players use, like idk a functioning offhand for bedrock? No hate it’s just frustrating to see them do tonnes of things that are great for niche groups of players but completely ignore stuff that would make Everyone happy! Also love your vids! Mojang said countless times that they will never add java combat system(offhand included) to bedrock edition. They are not satisfied of both combat system and are still brainstorming on an eventual combat update.

i dont think they are making the cape bedrock only. because the tiktok and twitch capes were bedrock only until i found them in my java cape inventory
I just got Java edition and I have a few capes for bedrock the twitch one and the 15 year creeper one didn’t go into my Java skin tab for some reason

Observers, modern Zombie Villagers, Dirt Paths, and the Boats with oars were first added to Bedrock. Bedrock became a test bed back in 2015 - 2016, back when Java had absolutely nothing going on outside of community content.
I think it would be a good idea to add full cape parody across java and bedrock.
That would be cool, but then you would have to figure out how to get certain capes after the fact. If (and this is the most likely) this cape remains bedrock exclusive, and then if in a year from now Mojang wants cape parity, how would Java players get the cape? And if there was a different way to get it on Java, then Bedrock players would be upset, as the availability of that cape is gone on Bedrock, but there on Java. Its a nice idea, but it would sadly be very hard to do in reality.

@Tristan they wouldn’t need to that.
@@sentheaS They wouldn't need to do that if they only wanted cape parity in the future, but "full cape parity" implies having the exact same set of capes (or the ability to have the same set) between versions, and that means having some capes that were discontinued on some platforms, must reappear on other platforms. Although, I suppose they could just transfer capes, if you have it on one version then you have it on the other version.
@@tristanshaltz2769 mate, it already exists, they just need to make the effort of making code that checks what capes you have on one minecraft version and giving it to you on the other... plus the textures for the capes themselves. they hold the playerdata on servers already

it would be pretty nice if the cape didnt have the 15 on it, because it doesnt really fit anything i would want on my skin.

@@justinbuddy56 ya, but I think you can craft it. There is a crafting recipe when you enable experimental features in java. And its crafted with rabbit hide and string.

Will this be available on the regular version of Minecrat? Or just the console version?
It says bedrock edition, so that should include all the various console versions, plus android and iphone versions, plus "Minecraft for Windows" on PC.
But it will NOT include java edition, which is the other version for PC which works on Mac and Linux and also Windows again (it's the only version for Mac and Linux PCs).
So it depends which of those you have.
