- The Only Place is one of the oldest steak houses, in the American Diner style to still exist in Bangalore. From prime cuts to classic mutton chops, and a proper Chateau Briande. The Forkers fork their way through steaks, sandwiches finishing with a luscious apple pie. Sids is transported back to his childhood in Florida and Shanky is just happy he has steaks to eat.

It's mostly because they shoot multiple locations in a day
as Kay said, we shoot 2 episodes in a day so are stuffed.
we also only shoot by seasons so have to put together 15 to 20 episode in 10 to 14 days. Which makes it difficult on the stomach to eat too much. Not that our sizes gives that away :)

I don't agree with the renaming cities business, but I do understand why people from Mumbai insist calling it Mumbai and not Bombay. And people of Banglore don't seems to mind.
The Marathi speaking locals in Mumbai, always called it Mumbai. Bombay was used by immigrants and rest of India, but for locals it was always Mumbai. So it hits closer to heart. Same with Chennai, most people use Chennai and not Madras.
Also time is a factor, its been so long that Chennai and Mumbai have been renamed that calling it Bombay or Madras makes you look ignorant. Whereas Bengaluru was just renamed a few years back. Same with Pyaragraj, nobody uses Prayagraj for Allahabad now! But give it 20 more years and then you'll see a lot more people using the newer names
Bangalore was always known as Bengaluru by Kannadigas for ages. Difference between Marathi and Kannada people is that the former are fanatic and latter are fine with anything

Pretty sure this is fake Steak. I was told that nobody except a few restaurants inside 5 star hotels sells "imported" steak in Bangalore, only buffalo meat. But I could be wrong. Because this don't look imported. One could literally say Beef is banned in whole of india. Even in the few states where it is allowed, they are usually old animals, which are chewy a\f and also none of the butcher know the fillet mignon or any other steak cut. I presume they either import, or visit the buffalo butcher in the morning to get the desired cut.
You need to find your source bro... Come to goa on the 2nd and 3rd of December at ibw and you'll see some amazing beef...

The context of the conversation about the Philly and my knowledge of it is because I went to college there and Philly Cheesesteak is like a religion and this wasn't one.

People are a lot more relaxed in the southern states of India when it comes to eating beef. Apart from muslims and Christians, some other religious groups in the states of Karnataka and Kerala eat beef. This episode was shot in Bangalore , Karnataka where it's kind of OK to eat beef and pork. India's north eastern states also consume beef without much regulations.
