- The social dancers at Walter's Crown St., Holland Park Saturday night's dance on the 28th May 2022 are celebrating the Queen's 70th Royal Jubilee by dancing the beautiful Platinum Waltz, choreographed by Maureen Stewart and Jim Currie. The accompanying music was composed by Mr. David Read in advance of this choreography, which he closely supervised to ensure close compliance with the technical nuances of his music. Walter, a close friend of David, sought his consent to release his, Maureen and Jim's intellectual property, the music and the dance, as the first authorized dance convener in the Asia Pacific region of the British Empire.

I appreciate your comment. Would you kindly list the errors that you see in the performance of this dance? Are you referring to incorrect steps being done or to defective dance techniques?
This group are doing justice to my wee social sequence dance 👏🏼👏🏼 that was created for the Platinum Jubilee but is still going strong today … it’s not about whether they are executing it perfectly or not 🤔 … you are missing the point 🥴 … it’s the fact they are dancing it and enjoying it that matters 🤗 … keep going folks and let me know if you are trying our new dance The King Charles Waltz created recently for the upcoming Coronation … 💃🏻🎵🕺

Are you suggesting that this clause is not meant as criticism?
If you are Joan Dugmore, would you kindly clarify what is not "properly" done in this above video by referring to the official dance script?. If you are Joan Dugmore and you really mean "it’s the fact they are dancing it and enjoying it that matters" then why make the obviously critical remark "this group cannot do it properly"? If you are not Joan then please explain exactly what point that you think I missed in Joan's post?
I would ignore this ‘Joan’ persons comment … if people can’t say anything kind they shouldn’t say it at all. It is a social dance and you are all doing very well … just enjoy your dancing and thank you for posting your lovely video … let me know if you are learning the new King Charles Waltz for the Coronation … 🤗💃🏻🕺🎵
