What is lifetime of this mousse, riding with some pressure like normal 0,1-0,3 bar but using this just for failure or for protection over logs ? I have tubliss alone for 70hours and it looks like new and I am worried about mousses at all as they get worn out and you need to lube them. With tubliss alone I just change tires, but I like this one a lot and I am really tempted to buy
If a rider had this TACS PROTECH and had the high pressure bladder for tubliss go flat (as I have, failed at valve stem!) will he still be able to ride on this if so for appox how far? will this mousse keep the bead of the tire on the rim?
A lot. A race, a weekend.
We ride on tacks with some air pressure or without it at all?
For the best results you need to keep a little bit of pressure. It depends on on terrain/temperature/ riding style …
thinking of giving this a try...If I go with the Firm half Mousse, and air up a soft tire like IRC JX8 to 3 psi, how will the Tire feel?, Is it going to feel like, 6 psi 8psi, 10 psi? I like to run low pressures but want to a mousse that will last. any advice you can share?
I have the soft version. Since the video is up, still using it. No problems, no wear shown. Don’t know how the IRC Tures are because we don’t have them.
@@ZonaEnduro Is the Medium Tacs Mousse similar to the Nitro Mousse Platinum as for firmness?
So if you get a hole in your tire, you still can’t hold air pressure so that doesn’t do any good
It will still hold tire on and allow to to get back or finish the race
Do you need any lube on the half mousse?
Yes and No… a little bit of lube, not as much as on a normal mousse. But i use that even with Tubliss inside to keep the red tube as cold as possible.
Tubliss....say Tube-less, not Tub-less. There are no tubs in dirt biking.
TUBE-LISS. Not Tubb-liss. Or, technically, TU-bliss.
Any top level riders using this?
Top level riders ride with mousses, but I know some PRO guys having Tubliss, unfortunately I don’t know if is fair to mention them here… What I can tell you for sure, the system was used a full season in EXPERT class in all Romanian races, with no failure! And with a TOP10 results all the time! Trust me, Romanian races in EXPERT class are freaking HARD!
@@ZonaEnduro I'm so torn between these two. For some context, at the beginning of this year, I bought brand new Michelin Mousse Bibs for both the front and rear. But this last weekend, I did an event where there was about 5km of off-camber stuff and my back kept washing down the hill. I'm a good bronze route rider, so could also be technique, but you know, I want to blame my setup. I spoke to some guys and they said even though the top riders are using mousses, they are drilling holes in them to soften them. Now, that seems like a very scary idea considering the prices I paid for them. Perhaps you could put a video together describing drilled mousses?
@EnduroNerd yes, pro guys use super soft mousses and also drilled. But that is expensive… a drilled mousse has less life and could collapse quickly.
Also they are not riding with them brand new. A 2-3 training session is a must to soften even more!
Also make sure for off-camber to have the tyre spinning the right way.
Interesting would like to try

So much weight
A rear mousse 140/18” is from 1600gr up. Tubliss has 880, TACS PROTEC Mousse 660gr. 🤓
To many parts can fail , mousse all day every day!
Yep… but was tested for a really long time in Romanian Hard Enduro races. Never failed!
