This is such a good analysis of cards and the depth you give it all is much better than the others I've watched so far! Hearing your take on things is a much needed thing in the community, since there's just so many Yugi-Brained creators explaining things.
Cheers St00ben! It’s funny whenever I hear an elestrals card compared to a yugioh one I just stare blankly 😅 so I’m keeping it all Elestrals on this channel
Love the video! I will point out that a part of the appeal of Corviskull is that the "exchange" of cards in the fortell does trigger effects that trigger when sent to underworld. So you could run corviskull as a way to hit your cedarsaur/asprowl/strix and stack your deck while also putting back one to hit again later.
@@calebdotexe that’s a nice application! Also recovering ambro/counters could be nice for an aggressive frost mill deck so maybe this is better than an ashrabbit in that archetype
@@NegateNexus Recovering Rise From is the most important application as it allows you to very consistently see whatever guy you want as you can quite easily mill 15/20 cards in a turn
This is a great informative video. for someone new to the game explaining the cards and the synergies that the cards have help massively. thanks for the vid
@@NegateNexus I recently ordered all of the starter decks just to be able to play and out of them i like earth and frost but seeing this through the kickstarter campaign for clash i really want to play the lunar engine ith the giant moose and purple ninetails
so hurricane is weird the reason it is being called powerful makes it unplayable. into the current backrow setting meta its crazy cause you get to pop 3 or 4 counter runes with 1 card and they probably can't be chained too meaningfully to hurricane so the idea is that out of fear of being blown out for not respecting hurricane you respect it and play around by setting 1 or maybe 2 backrow making it terrible and unplayable. the power is not the card itself it is the card's change to play patterns. like in a world where hurricane is "good" thunderstorm becomes strong and hurricane becomes unplayable. its like a weird and counterintuitive card to judge power level wise.
Loved the review! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on Moonrise!
Wow! Hello! thanks for the support 🙏
Super good video! Love how you pulled up the cards from other sets as well while talking about them!
Thanks so much! Having those other cards helped keep me on the right track during recording 😅

Yeah I suppose it’s a natural “format check” type of card more than anything else, great to read your thoughts on it, well said!
