Just got my new Glock 17 Gen 3 and Franklin Armory G-S173 yesterday, was a tad nervous taking it apart and getting it back together again with the printed instructions. Watched this young mans video a couple of times and got started. Was waiting for something to go wrong (as it usually does for me), but I followed his instructions and paused the video as I attempted each step and BOOM I got it done without any pieces flying thru the air or something not working after doing the steps he then laid out to make sure it was working as it should! THANK YOU for an excellent video!!!
FA binary triggers are a must for me on any big pistol or semi auto rifle. If you guys are taking requests, here's a list of platforms I hope to see future binary triggers for (if it is mechanically possible, i have faith in you guys): Beretta 92/M9/92x B&T TP9 and TP380 Kahr Arms/Auto-Ordinance Thompson semi auto Kahr Arms/Auto-Ordinance M1 Carbine GSG MP40 semi auto pistol the upcoming PSA STG44
If your rubber band was broken Skip to 11:10 you will have to reinstall the torsion spring Once you reinstall, it will correct the dead trigger and release only on binary.
Question, on the slow release binary reset test (test 2) my trigger doesn’t reset (no reset click) the striker just drops. Any way to resolve this issue? Or is this normal?
Just installed one on mine gen 3 17. While doing the function tests it works fine in binary mode even will cancel the round. But it will not drop the firing pin in single mode every time. I have to rack it multiple times. Single mode will work everytime with a empty magazine in it. I put my stock slide and trigger back in and it works fine. Any suggestions?
I tried to put this on a Grey Ghost Precision G17 frame and I can’t get engagement with firing pin on dry fire test except on binary release. Is this frame not compatible?
The rubber band on the trigger was broken when I opened the box. The trigger looked intact. Followed the video and put the trigger in. Now I can’t pull the trigger. (Striker won’t fall). Can’t disassemble either. What’s going on here. Also the instructions about trigger assembly can’t be found on your website as mentioned in the installation instructions.
The rubber band on mine was broken as well. But the trigger bar was still attached. I had to pinch it and gently remove it from the package and everything looked intact. I slapped that bad boy together and somehow everything worked. No clue.
You will have to put in binary mode, keep working action and trying to fire till you hear striker fall, then remove slide. Then Skip to 11:10 you will have to reinstall the torsion spring

Add Mpa series to that
I second that thompson.
I'd pay the money for it no doubt😊
Will buy one when they make a 34 slide to go on my 34 sbr.
Just installed it! Thank you for the video! You guys are the best!

Can the trigger pull be reduced through things like Ghost linkage bars, etc?

When can you buy it off the website? It just says add to wishlist
Will the G-S173 fit/work on the Block 17L ?
3rd generation of course ?
@@kennethking817 Possibly but it will completely replace the slide so it won't be an L anymore
The slide would be the GS173 but I would use the 17L barrel , The G17 frame is the same frame for the 17L for the 3rd generation .

They told me when I emailed them in less words that they won’t guarantee it’ll work with anything other than a bone stock gen 3.

The trigger pack reassembly is literally just a blur with "just like that"
Sorry I can't turn 69 instantly so it looks the same in person.

Did you put the trigger housing pin back in?

got same problem, any update on your situation? thank you
They're joking with that price right? It's worth $400 tops.
I bought a blemished one for $500...$900 for just a play gun is too much
