What upset me so much was him blaming his two daughters at first. They were so harmed by this. Once said it can not be removed from people's minds. Those poor girls really suffered. The city of Faribault is still affected by this. Him getting such a sentence really caused uproar here. This is why we need to make sure that the laws are on the books and that this crime will be there and have a life sentence with it. When you see him around town it is creepy.

Yep. I've dealt with depression since the third grade, and since the eleventh, suicidal...well, I really still don't know what to call it. Neither "thoughts" nor "tendencies" really seem to cover it. At any rate, the absolute last thing someone with these issues needs, _especially_ when the issue is unrequited love, is someone encouraging them to do it. Doubly so at a low point in life. It takes active, conscious, deliberate attempts at being optimistic and grateful to stay out of that pit, and too many days that's a taller order than we can manage, and people tending to not understand what depression is just makes things even more difficult. Just want to encourage you guys to stay on top of it and to view each day you get through as a victory in that war.

I'm kinda intrigued by William Melchert-Dinkel's wife standing by & supporting him in the photos. This guy spent years obsessively encouraging on-screen suicides- hundreds and hundreds of hours on the computer. Why would you want such a person anywhere near your & your family members' lives?

DeShawn 'Dawg' BNBG me too! My dad worked for a really prestigious law firm in Minneapolis, and he actually met William Melchert-Dinkel! His wife is apparently really really weird. William and his wife are STILL to this day trying to appeal his conviction, although the only kind of assisted suicide that is legal is the medically assisted suicide or the “Death with dignity” law.

My running theory is that the expert witness: a) confused ASD (autism spectrum disorder, a social disorder where if anything people with it would be *less* likely to socially understand people enough to manipulate and catfish them, let alone think that's the best strategy) with ASPD (antisocial personality disorder, a disorder characterized by a consistent disregard for the law and other's rights, well-being, and/or feelings) and somehow missed the point where people with ASPD are capable of realizing what they are doing is wrong and are therefore still legally accountable for their actions or b) that that expert witness is in a competition with Sigmund Freud to see who can do more cocaine while practicing.

People with Asperger's are Not unintelligent; they're just...'"beyond". They're all (proven to be) willing/able to learn/accept levels of learning and comprehension that has yet to be fully explained. So, there we have it!...we Don't Know! My son-in-law has AS! He and others who have this are NOT violent! This has nothing to do with this scumbag's actions in ending this young lady's life! NOTHING! As for the monster who egged people on to commit suicide, he deserves to spend his entire life in prison. He will only continue to do this. People like him don't change. He is a predator and will continue to be one. The monster who murdered that pregnant mother is a psychopath. Nothing that happened to her in her younger life caused her to do this.

I’m a depressed person who has suffered with it and suicidal thoughts for as long as I can remember. I’ve acted on such thoughts and am deeply sorry for doing as such.
But, hearing that a woman named Ms. Blay is in this world and is fighting to help those of us who have found themselves for whatever reasons or causes facing such mental issues is uplifting in ways I cannot describe.
I truly am ashamed of my actions (I will carry the scars of my ignorant actions for the rest of my life) and am also honestly thankful that this woman exists who endeavors to help those of us with such problems. I may not have a personal connection with her.....but I feel personally indebted to her.
She has saved lives. I’m not religious whatsoever, and yet it feels so very right in saying, “Bless this beautiful woman. And, thank goodness that she was born and placed on this earth to help lost and confused souls.”

*CATISHING* The cause of a strange but common syndrome which often effects the person in the home with a cat who finds it is their job to clean up after the cat. This shows when the human/cat-janitor of the home manifests the compulsion that forces them to continually clean their cats' litter boxes regardless of how overcome they feel by the grossness of this dirty and thankless job. And regardless of their aversion they will continue to do the job even when logic might dictate that a better way to deal with the situation could be to give the cat away... This is where catishing comes in, it is an evolutionary adaptation of the housecat that allows the cat to influence it's human janitor to continue this dirty task no matter what level of feeling the person has for the cat. It is similar to what horse trainers call horse whispering except in this case it is the strange and subtle way the cat is able to influence its human janitor to continue cleaning up after the cat regardless of how much or how little the janitor cares about the cat.

i love cases like these. something about the late 00s-early 10s plus the internet is something that brings me amazing memories so these cases make me feel just that much unsettled because like, i wouldn’t think about that era in this way if that makes sense.

Dinkle reminds me of internet trolls, who say that "I can say what I want online, freedom of speech". What they don't understand that actions have consequences, despite whatever 'funny' intentions they have. It makes me sick.

Freedom of speech…. My freedom doesn’t end because you have mental problems. If you want to kill yourself based off of somebody’s WORDS, there’s bigger problems for you to worry about and you should be in therapy

I remember one of my middle school teachers reading the third story to me when it was in the newspaper. There are some crazy people out there. Stories like these three are a good example of what kind of people you'll find on the internet. Don't place your trust with people you met online. They could have other intentions.

It hurts my heart that to this day, people STILL use the internet to find jobs, a potential spouse, a good sale etc and think nothing of jetting off to someone's home to pick items up or meet someone. PLEASE, always, ALWAYS meet people in public and/or preferably bring someone along with you if you need to meet up with someone.

Celia is a real International Hero. She kept going, collecting her evidence even though the local police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the F.B.I. were not interested. Eventually, she got a Police group who specialised, and the nurse who was encoraging Suicides was eventually convicted.

The case of Michael Anderson... The only thing about the court proceedings that doesnt sit right with me is that the judge that diagnosed Michael wouldnt allow him to testify. Which lead's me to my next point. Why couldnt they have another doctor do the tests to confirm or disprove whether or not he had aspergers?
