@@JacobPorterLadderthey only had issues at golf course mulligans champions cup should just be at the fort or even other courses here in Utah great woods courses
Our selling point is (usually) great weather when it can be frigid across most of the country. PGA does a fairly early swing, but they have Hawaii. Nice
@@michaelmaniloff9297 did I say September? October, November, December? Of course September is hotter it is in the Summer, and February is in the winter!
As someone in the midwest, I'm very thankful the Preserve isn't gone. Attendance is always very good, and if they don't go there, I have no chance of seeing a pro tour event. I'm thankful.
NW championship is 4 days. 2 at Milo, 2 at Glendoveer. Stumptown is applying to have worlds there in a future year. I know they are going to have it approved. I can’t wait to have worlds in Oregon.
Dude,… it’s not the most surprising, but the most EXCITING thing for me, being in Northern Virginia, is the USDGC, immediately followed up with Lynchburg baby!! Since moving back east from the west coast, I’ve been really wanting to hit USDGC. But this year, it was that or Worlds,… and that’s a no brainer. But next year, I could make it a whole adventure and hit both!! Super cool finish.
It’s better but the Konopiste open and Ale open are still out of place. The fields are gonna be super weak at those events and frankly they shouldn’t be considered pro tour events if the competition won’t be the best. The pro tour needs to group ALL (not most) of the European events together with no USA events in between
@@landonwebb886 Events eligible for use on the Europe swing should be Sula, Krokhol, Tallin/Estonia, The monster/the beast atm. The rest should be A-tiers or smth like that until proven that they are good for fans/filming. Coming from a swede. Going to finland/norway/estonia is going to have the same cost as travelling to Ale anyways. Konopiste has gotten to many chances and the event isn’t run great, no matter the field.
Why is Champions Cup in Stockton next year? Also, just because it’s in Stockton does that mean it’s on the golf course? Being from the Northwest I’m pumped for the Cascade Challenge, although I would’ve liked if they had Beaver State and Portland rotate like it sounds like they’re doing with KC and DDO because those courses are pretty far apart from each other and already provided great events. Especially with Glendoveer having two great layouts during the same tournament in years before.
Hot take? Only four majors should be repeated every year, all other pro tour events should be biyearly. This would act as a catalyst to see the sport grow. Thoughts?
As someone who has seen the Brent Hambrick Memorial go the way of the dodo I was certain that we wouldn’t have Idlewild by this year. I’m really happy to see that’s not the case after all
I can’t believe the dgpt dropped Texas states off the schedule. It’s the closest event for my family to go to. Now if my kids want to see some pro disc golf I’d have to drive 3 1/2 hours to The open at Austin. I’d have to turn it into a full blown vacation for it to even be worth the trip.

The one really big tournament missing here is the The European Disc Golf Championships will be played in Norway on 25th to 28th of June. For the Europeans it's equivalent to a major, and it makes a big difference in the scheduling.
to keep doing the us-eu-us-eu-us-eu.... schedueling is insane... and the 2 majors right after one another... make festival the start of european swing and worlds the end...
Love the coverage… but guys Eagle won European Open… another major. You know the one where him and Paul went lights out… 2022… not sure why you guys keep forgetting that…
They need to figure something out with the European stuff. Personally I think they should start the season in Europe or at least put it at the beginning have like 2 months over there and then come back to the states. Putting it right in the middle just doesn’t seem to work great
Well then quit scheduling all this USA crap in between, just go out there for 2 months or whatever and come back. It just needs to be all at once I.e. no events in the states and Europe over the same stretch of time, because it weakens the field when they try and do this shuffle every year
Whyyyyy would they not be using Nevin for champions cup if they aren’t a using it for the tour championship? It seems like a hard woods course which is what we need
This schedule is a mess. Still only 3 West Coast events and no BSF, maybe one of the best events. Konopiste in the middle of the West Coast Swing, THEN Sweden and the Euro tour a month later. What? Put all of the Euro events together. On the plus side they have done a little better arranging locations for weather.
Separating 2 majors by one weekend is going to be awful. I get that they probably liked both events this year and wanted to give something more to some Euro disc golf, but this is not it. Schedule makers look like they just gave up trying to find balance
FINALLY taking Emporia off of the schedule, literally no one likes going there. GREAT CHOICE to add KC to the list, it’s a fantastic disc golf city, and totally makes no sense that DGPT has gone so all in on Lynchburg 2 years in a row, it’s a completely unproven spot.
The decision for the PDGA to take an east coast tournament in the woods and make it a west coast tournament on a golf course basically the same as a DEI hire or the secret service 😂
Seems like the DGPT could use The Fort (2021 World's course) as a wooded option out west for the Champions Cup.
@@TypeIIAdventures who knows if the TD and PDGA have gotten over any issues they had from that worlds
Great idea

Can't wait for people to see the US Women's courses in Wisconsin, 2 fantastic properties, both on the UDISC top 100
Champions Cup should be at Nevin/Angry Beaver in Charlotte or Holston Creek in South Carolina
After everyone watches and plays the KC wide open nobody will want to ever return to emporia
I feel like future years can start in FL, then maybe go back-to-back McCease courses and hit Cactus Rock (when it’s done) in Alabama before Texas.
They should do tournaments in FL closer to the end of the season. It’s to effing hot here!

Pennsylvania needs to be represented.
Good DDO sucks, Kansas City Wide was a more interesting course
