The King and Queen of Spain received an Address of Welcome and were entertained at a Banquet by the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.

A wonderful woman who has done her family proud. I have always admired The Princess Royal, no nonsense from her ever.
In the last Year - I my respect for Anne has really grown. She comes across no nonsense but takes her duties to Crown seriously. Something about her late Mother in her for sure.
She is a perfect combination of her mother and father. Dutiful, respectful, and no-nonsense!
No one curtsey's like the Princess Royal--so professional.
The Princess Royal looks lovely. The dress was unexpected, I've only seen her in uniform, or functional outfits, I had no idea she could be so beautiful. What a class act.

Princess Anne always dressed lovely when she was younger and re-wears a lot of her clothes from younger years. She could do something about the brown blotches on her back if she is going to wear a dress with a low-cut back.
@Sally Byrd You could do something about delivering left-handed compliments, too. She was probably born with her brown spots and, quite frankly, I didn't even notice them until you HAD to point them out. But your left-handed compliments came to you later in life and it appears you were taught (and learned) well.

The Princess Royal is a great advocate for the BRF and U.K. She respects the Spanish Monarchy and shows that by her wonderful curtesy. Good to see Sir Tim alongside his wife. I don’t know why people have a problem with showing respect. It’s to the institution not the individual. 🇬🇧
It's not about her respecting the Spanish monarchy. All royals everywhere are expected to bow/curtsy according to their rank, no matter which countries are involved. When William and Catherine were recently in Jordan for the wedding of the Crown Prince of Jordan, they bowed/curtsied to the King and Queen of Jordan. It's expected in the royal world worldwide.

Oh, please. People like you prove Megan's point every single time you open your mouths about her on a subject that has absolutely nothing to do with her. Megan is American. Do you REALLY think she's cares about the correct way to curtsy?? You sound silly. She only ever curtsied because it was expected of her. The concept of curtseying is COMPLETELY unnatural to any American. Be glad that she did it at all!
Also, I would hope that Anne knows how to curtsy, given that she literally grew up in that world. When you are the child of a Queen who has been trained in these things since birth, knowing how to appropriately curtsy or appear graceful in formal environments is NOT an accomplishment. Anne has been curtseying and appearing at elegant events since she was a baby - because her mother was a Queen! Megan grew up in the REAL world - in an entirely different country. She had to focus on things like supporting herself, education, and her career - not how to appropriately curtsy!
I can remember at Christmas when we was kids and are beautiful Queen came on the TV at dinner time we was all around the table and dad said stand up for the Queen and we did .God bless you I will miss you so much my darling beautiful Queen. Xx
